Hi Next_Package_5710, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

I’m guessing you’re talking about **Ikoku Nikki**. The English title on the Japanese poster and manga volume is ‘Journal with Witch’

Starts airing 4th of january next year.

Are you sure it wasn't "Journal with Witch"?

SuperTD2025-12-23 18:13

I think you mean "Journal with Witch" not journey - also known as Diary of a Strange Land. That's probably why you couldn't find anything about it.

The description reminds me of [Majo no Tabitabi Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina](https://myanimelist.net/anime/40571/Majo_no_Tabitabi), So part of the correct English title would be *The Journey of Elaina*.

The original is a novel with the same name.

Gives overlord a run for it's money with having an evil MC

1000-MAT2025-12-23 18:47

What?

Western_Promise30632025-12-23 18:54

Elaina is a hilariously garbage person to the point she's borderline evil

1000-MAT2025-12-23 18:56

Okay, but the comparison to Overlord still doesn't make sense to me.

Ainz allow killing thousands without remorse. She allow (doing nothing) that a lot of people be killed.

Is not 1:1 but both are evil. Elaina is cuter, but that it. Both are evil.

I'm sorry, but the list of things he or his subordinates do is unmatched by anything else in this anime.

When was announced the english title was "Diary of a foreign land" Or something like that. And... I like it more.
