Any good anime recs?

Hi Acrobatic-Coat3322, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

Frieren

Please watch [Idolish7](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INATR24u5qY), it has amazing plot, wonderful songs and great comedy moments

Cop craft

violet evergarden

Hitman Reborn first 20ish episodes are rough but after that its aamazing

If you want to go for no action haha, one of my favourites is 'Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad' not long, only 24 episodes, about a kid getting into a foreign music (foreign in the context of Japan, so American music) and gets into a band that's trying to make it without selling out. Pretty different, but I enjoyed the story and the characters.

Astra lost in space is perfect and only 12 episodes

If you like Slice of Life animes, you can watch Azumanga Daioh, Nichijou.

If you like detective stories, watch The Apothecary Diaries. It's very relaxing.

Samurai Champloo is good if you want action+slice of life.

Ranking of Kings is a very good action+adventure anime. Less action, good adventure, and a good story.

You can watch Made in Abyss too. Great plot, great music, stunning visuals, nice adventure.

Baccano is a very nice mix of mystery and supernatural.
Durarara is on the similar line. Both have the same production studio. ([Easter egg if you have watched Durarara] >!Someone actually made the Dollars site in real life, and the password is Baccano. The password is the same in the show too. You can notice it when Ryugamine enters the site.!<)

Assassination Classroom, Fireforce, Frieren

I need more people to watch World Trigger.

It's a sc-fi action anime about an organization called Border (staffed predominantly by adolescents for some reason) that defends our world from inter-dimensional invaders using technology developed from studying the technology if the invaders.

I can't say much about the plot without spoiling it, but it's a good plot and there's a lot of interesting characters. It feels like everyone was made as a protagonist of their own story without undercutting the real protagonists. The early story is good enough, but the main appeal is when they start defining the power system and turn it from abstract "whatever goes" to a proper hard power system.

What I will say is there is one protagonist who's extremely overpowered at the start, but he gets nerfed pretty quickly so don't worry about that.

Golden kamuy

Charlotte

Spice and wolf

Parasyte

Eden of the east

The Summer that Hikaru Died has a "slice of life" with a horror Eldritch mystery backdrop. Highly recommend.

Irresponsible Captain Tylor either the English dub or sub if you prefer sub either way they’re both fantastic or ghost stories dub

ping pong the animation:
» unconventional art style that might be jarring at first, but so well-written; action is in its games—stimulating but not overlong or too intense—and it's only a brief 11 episodes

whisper of the heart:
» lighthearted ghibli movie that's often overlooked; a coming-of-age tale with romance and an appeal to simpler times
