Looking for explicit animes

Alright hear me out. I recently watched redo of healer with my friend as a joke and we kinda had a great time while watching it. We don't usually watch these kinds of animes but there was something in it's absurd explicity that made it so much fun to watch together. I was wondering if I could get any recommendations similar to that anime. (No I am not actually looking for hentai, I am actually looking for something that HAS at least a little story line to it). Any recommendations are welcome, the more explicit the better. (We have seen DXD already.)

Hi barna6969, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

Just look at the ecchi genre in MyAnimeList. You should be able to find some stuff through that.

>No I am not actually looking for hentai

That's good, because hentai isn't allowed here. For show recommendations, try Testament of a Sister New Devil and Valkyrie Drive.

Prison School.

The best explicit anime that actually has an engaging plot you will ever watch.

loudersubs2025-12-24 02:57

Honestly one of the most funny anime I’ve ever seen.

McKnightmare242025-12-24 01:13

Gantz, it's very dark and has a lot of violence and sex, but the ending isn't all that happy

Odd_Manager48342025-12-24 02:58

Amazing one ! It’s a shame the anime end the way it does tho, read that they didn’t adapted the manga to the end

NightVisions9992025-12-24 01:14

To be fair, there are hentai with an actual story too.

As a more serious answer, Gushing over Magical Girls is probably what you're looking for.

HobbTheGob2025-12-24 01:28

That anime is so wild to watch, not sure if watching it with another person is recommended. I am also here for the update after OP watches it with their friend.

therealijw12025-12-24 08:02

Good plots? What have I missed on

Chucky_Fister2025-12-24 01:17

Hen Semi (or Hen Zemi?)

Slimefan272025-12-24 01:17

Interspecies Reviewers is as explicit as you can get without crossing over into hentai.

chancecube192025-12-24 01:51

This one and Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World.

Piko-a2025-12-24 01:21

Nukitashi the Animation, have not seen it myself, but the plot is "Guy tries to be celibate on sex island". It technically is not a hentai by the listing on MAL.

Bludgeoning Angel Dokura-chan and Heaven's lost Property,

Queens blade. 1st episode, acid milk comes out of a nipple.

Shimoneta. One of the characters looks like a cock and the another puts her gruel into cookies for a boy she fancies.

God speed.

King_Yon123212025-12-24 01:23

Nukitashi the Animation and Gushing Over Magical Girls actually had interesting characters in my opinion

It’s not banned in any country.

There was an activist group that said “it should be banned” in Taiwan. That’s about it.

The same thing happened to *Sword art online* in Australia.

It is available on multiple legal streaming platforms internationally

MyAccountWasBanned72025-12-24 02:21

No it isn't. Shut up.

loudersubs2025-12-24 03:04

This anime is SO MUCH FUN. As someone who doesn’t normally like ecchi anime, there is some fan service but the plot is actually 100% flushed out with actual character development and story progression. I watched a 2 minute clip on Reddit and purchased it outright (Hi-Dive’s UI is ugly, sorry). Now along with the regular blu ray I have the steel book and I’m caught up on the manga.

The marketing for this show really gaslights you on the fact that there is an actual plot.

Motor_Difference_8022025-12-24 01:29

The best is Prison School.

To Love Ru is pretty explicit

PartyForNormalPeople2025-12-24 01:32

Maybe you'll like Futoku no Guild or To Love-Ru.

Celt-at-Arms2025-12-24 01:33

Seikon no Qwaser (Qwaser of Stigmata), it has a magic system that makes Full Metal Alchemist jealous, but just an absurd amount of nudity and sexual content. The mana for the magic system is obtained through sucking the soul out of the female characters' breasts (no, that is not a joke).

DogbrainedGoat2025-12-24 01:41

Interesting

Kadmos12025-12-24 03:29

The manga of that series and the manga version of "To Love-Ru Darkness" are really close to being hard-core R18.

Food wars

VenomousGenesis2025-12-24 01:43

While they aren't super explicit I enjoyed the ecchi comedies Golden Boy, B Gata H Kei, Panty and Stocking.

{Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun} [🔗](https://youtu.be/tJy_AXv-5Ok) with the twist in the end.

beckychao2025-12-24 01:55

Shimoneta (my favorite anime sex comedy)
B Gata H Kei (also made me cry laughing)
Devilman Crybaby (will break your heart, it is explicit af but also an incredible, heartbreaking action/horror story)
Original Basilisk is not an ecchi but it has characters that kill with sex (avoid at all costs the shitty, unnecessary sequel series made many years later by Studio Deen)
Queen's Blade/Queen's Blade Rebellion
Ikki Tousen (warning: the first season is a notorious piece of dogshit of an anime, but the rest of it is kinda... entertaining!?)
Food Wars was created by a hentai artist, iirc? It's also completely fantastic
Binbougami Ga! is not ecchi per se, but it is very horny and extremely funny
Grand Blue Dreaming is also not ecchi but is very horny and had me crying laughing

Kerzic2025-12-24 01:59

**Cross Ange** \-- often has the aesthetics of a trashy women in prison movie but also has women characters well developed enough that some feminists have praised that aspect of it.

**The Testament of Sister New Devil** \-- I thought it was a lot better than Highschool DxD but along similar lines.

**Tales of Wedding Rings** \-- This one is recent, has a pretty good overall story and character arcs, and isn't usually as heavy as some of the others, though it does get serious in places.

**Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time** \-- Pure ecchi trash comedy but I thought the first season was pretty well done and funny.

I'll also second the **Prison School** anime. I was reluctant to watch it because it didn't seem like something I'd enjoy but it has a really solid plot and is a great male friend bonding story, too.

Kadmos12025-12-24 03:50

What I find interesting about **Tales of Wedding Rings** is that the Eng. voice of Satou also voiced Gilbert in "Anne Shirley".

If it's explicit sexual content:

* Interspecies Reviewers
* Yosuga no Sora
* Aki Sora

There are more I know but can't think off the top of my head right now

Interspecies Reviewers, Monster Musume, and Gushing Over Magical Girls.

Everybody says they are not looking for hentai...but man...yes you are...there is a very thin line between ecchi and hentai... and that "redo" same as "Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo"(Labyrinth of Another World) are just a few draws behind hentai category.
