(And also, if you didn't write a character with the ability to cook, don't try cooking with them lol).
Welcome to the end. I'm freed from this chuuni hellhole. I'm not sure whether I should be glad or not... because I really liked it, and i want to go back.
I think if this story has taught us anything, it's that our stories can grow in ways we never expected and that we can all look back and appreciate/cringe the stuff we came up with when we were teenagers.
Understandable....
What could the Schwartz le Chevalier be thinking to do about Konoha? A seemingly powerful group she didn't wrote, that's beyond Iana's capabilities to face on her own.
If this is allowed, we also created a subreddit dedicated to the series at r/TenKuro. If you want to talk more about the series, or gush about the characters, feel free to join us!
As for thoughts about the actual episode..
**"I wasn't able to introduce you to my sister, but in exchange, I will introduce you to the Grim Reaper"** is such a chuuni line. I love it.
Trying to cook *with* a character who is unable to cook, totally a *great idea*.
Shukuna saying Konoha brought him back with her slender arms when it was Iana who carried him on her back...
Sol having his internal conflict about Iana, you love to see it. He really is starting to soften around Iana, 6 months after he was initially asked to assassinate her.
I actually liked the goofy animations, added to the fun at times. I think the studio did well with their modest budget.
I love it when Iana goes hardcore. She might barely get any respect in this world from anyone not in the main cast, but she knows how to bring it.
🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
I'll miss her Iana noises and vocalizing sound effects/character expressions and all her freakouts.
The vampire king was pretty funny, keeps calling Iana ugly, then throwing her to the side.
I also love how Shukuna was waxing lyrical about how awesome Konoha is while completely glossing over that Iana was there too the entire time lol.
That was why hitting him with that stake was personal.
She had moved way passed the storyline then.
All in all, a very fun and goofy series. I need more ASAP!
Y'know, I get that this is a world that runs on Konoha being the absolute Heroine and beloved by all...but do we really need to call Iana ugly? Or recount stories about Konoha that blatantly ignore the fact that Iana was there the whole time? Or just toss Iana aside like she's trash? I mean, I know it's her character parameters, but still!
Sorry Vampire King, you're not dining on Konoha tonight! Not when Iana used her sisters' blood to concoct an anti-vampirism solution and coated it onto the seal so she and Sol could turn the tables and destroy him! It's just his luck that OG!Konoha made sure most of the antagonists in the Dark History didn't fit her preferences, so she has no qualms about destroying them and erasing them from her story. No Konoha sexual assault moment this go-around.
Of course the Vampire King wasn't the only threat...it turns out Kagura, AKA Agni, was behind everything as part of a long-term plan to awaken Konoha's Saint Powers. And he's part of a villainous organization known as the Schwartz la Chevalier. The weirdest thing is Iana can't believe a shota character would exist in the Dark History, let alone a villain group she has no recollection of.
So the plan is to sacrifice Saint Konoha to "Universum?" Though I love how the visual of Saint Konoha has her in the most revealing/provocative outfit of all time because the author couldn't help herself.
Yomi was seriously injured and this situation has become a mess that's easy to pin on the "Villainess," but Iana is taking full responsibility for what happened. Thankfully Ginoford has come around to believing in and backing her up, and won't let anyone harshly rebuke her. He may have been too OP to keep active in the original story (plus OG!Konoha needed to add more drama to her tragic, chosen, Heroine plot), but he's still her middle school boyfriend and someone she can rely on.
Sol's feelings are all mixed up, but it seems like Konoha wants him to be more honest with his heart, and his feelings towards Iana. Dare I say she might even ship the two together?
It turns out being reincarnated as a Villainess does not give you amazing cooking skills. Nor does it mean the male lead you designed without cooking skills can cook with you. Even this Isekai world operates on different cooking logic! But at least we get to close off on one last insert song and Sol and Konoha tending to their respective love interests. I BET Sol is looking forward to personally training Iana in the art of cooking...in an intimate way.
What's the worst that can happen at Ginoford's family estate? Another death flag for Iana, that's what.

Iana really can deliver a great Villainess face when she wants to. Also congrats for killing one of your characters, I guess?
Archetypes that shouldn't be in the Dark History, an antagonist organization that she didn't write, what is going on here!?
He's holding her like that because that's just how she wrote how men act in this universe! It was intended for the Heroine but now she's basically the sub-Heroine of this story lol.
That insert song sounded like a duet? Or was that the entire cast singing it?
It was nice to see Sol opening his heart a bit by the end and Iana finally remembered how OP she set Ginoford to be, he really felt like a big brother this episode.
No more from this weekly abridged series lol. I'm not expecting a second season at all.
And we come to the end of what was, for me, probably the most surprising anime of the season. Didn't really expect much out of this especially given the quality of the animation, but it actually was able to use it's low budget effectively for comedic purposes. Would not begrudge a new season.
I liked that the anime got around to explaining why so many of the dude look kind of the same, but just with color-swapped hair. Wonder if adult Llana feels the same way, or if her interest has matured (e.g. those vampire abs).
Ginford at the end felt like...he was showing some romantic interest, meanwhile Konoha has totally figured out that Sol has a thing for her sister. And now they are all heading to Ginford's family home. No way this won't end in hillarity
That being said, I do notice that this last episode is a bit rushed. The epilogue's jokes were rapidly fired, and some of them are talking slightly faster than usual. It's still a good and enjoyable episode though!
While Ginoford is Iana's ideal boyfriend, I really hope there won't be an additional love triangle between them. Just Iana, Yomi and Sol should be enough for the hilarity.
Then again, it feels like Iana sees Ginoford more like her ex rather than potential love interest. Heck, it seems adult Satou just saw them all more as her creation/past embarrassment rather than potential love interest lol.
Konoha is definitely shipping IanaxSol.
With double the budget, to $20! I agree with the rushed bit, too: they defeated a boss and introduced both a "new" villain they didnt even fight, and an evil group by the break. That's a bit too much, imo
This episode really nailed in how much of Iana's villainess status plays a role in how the world perceives her, like with Shukuna ignoring her part in saving him and the doctor putting the blame on her despite probably having no context. The world truly is out to get her.
We also have finally gotten our answer to who Kagura is, at least kind of. Those of us who suspected him have had their suspicions affirmed, but Schwarz le Chevalier doesn't mean anything to us or to Iana. Are they the force of the story creating the corrections Iana experienced in the last few episodes, or do they serve a different purpose? Regardless, we got more questions than answers.
But at least for now Iana is safe, especially since Sol seems to start warming up to her and Ginoford finally starts treating her as a sister-in-law. Iana has more allies than before and is ready to face whatever Schwarz le Chevalier or anyone else who plans on interfering with her life in the fantasy land.
But that is all for now, because we reached the end. Goodbye TenKuro, I hope to see you again in the future, once season 2 starts (cope and positivity!)
Maybe it's her adult subconscious forcing its way through which is why there's a shota there.
Yeah, I feel Iana on characters that you feel forced to include because of outside influence. You just don't like them as much, even I personally liked the Vampire Kings design.
Now we got an antagonist group that wants Konoha to awaken as the saint. As long as Ginoford is here they will have a difficult time though. Well, killing Iana could definitely be a way to awaken Konoha so staying as a group would probably be best for Iana.
Sol is having an interesting time since Iana was acting suspicious as hell, but (in his eyes) she tried to kill herself to protect him, and he also likes her. So what now? Well, you know what to do to find out...
I really like the scene of Iana and Ginoford exploding the kitchen. Sol felt so stupid for being worried lol
I know painfully well that a shoujo anime with little budget is not gonna get a second season. I know that very well...
However, can we get one regardless? A second season of this would kill me in the best way possible.
Edit: btw I made a [playlist](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8sWWCJj_aYEBZXZldXQat6y0YoOAPFd-&si=PtHh_8mf3nGjW-Gd) with the insert songs and other songs that fit the vibes of the manga (Could be implied spoilers so beware).
For anyone who might not have caught on: he actually has the same voice as Kamishiro Rui from Project Sekai 😆 I feel like I got secret Rui content from this show 😆
The animation being low quality just adds to the charm. I hope for a season 2.
Love the logic of "I was only creeping on little boys as an adult, they're not in this canon!", but oh? "Schwartz le Chevalier" is a villain group she didn't make? But it's a mysterious evil organization that uses two different Western languages in its name, that's *super* Japanese!
I do appreciate that all the people outside the inner circle of the show are still showing Iana-based mistrust though, because most of the setting *hasn't* seen Iana be best girl, they still have the shojo-glowing cinnamon roll that is Konoha right there.
I'm sad to see the Vampire King and the Shota Swordsman both feel like rushed encounters, but I'm even more depressed to see the season ending. This is the first anime that's really got me considering going to the source material, but a big part of the show's fun has been the anime... kinda sucking. Like from a technical standpoint I mean, and I don't know if written word/still art will carry as well. So naturally, I demand another season!

The show definitely had a limited budget, but that made [Iana/Konoha's reactions](https://imgchest.com/p/lqyelz6nk4d) even funnier. Here's [**my album with almost 250 stills from the entire season featuring only Iana/Konoha**](https://imgchest.com/p/na7kknw9b78), enjoy!
As for [this final episode](https://imgchest.com/p/ljyqk6z6ky2)... it was quite eventful, as[ the Vampire King was defeated surprisingly easily](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/680b2e1e1854.png), [Kagura](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/d9af37c4c23e.png) was revealed to be a member of the mysterious Schwartz le Chevalier organization that's targeting [Konoha](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/8ee3c0bc5ff8.png), and [Iana and Ginoford's attempt at cooking](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/b879698f9c8d.png) made me laugh out loud xD

I love how Konoha's "Saint" outfit exposes her boobs, stomach, and panties which totally feels like something OG!Konoha would come up with.
Iana is definitely up there as one of the most endearing and hilarious Villainesses, especially who had to survive her own work in all it's cringey otome/Shojo/smut/yuri/BL glory lol.
This had no right to be as good as it was, we even got one final gag of making fun of isekai protagonists who instantly cook perfectly in the new world with new ingredients.
Deen was exactly the right studio for this, somehow.
And they finished this one with one of the funniest skits in the whole season. How Iana and Ginoford tried to cook was absolutely hilarious. That "meat" explodes when heated?! Please stop, I'm dying from laughter!
And a final shout-outs to Yoshino Aoyama aka Iana, who really put all her skills into the amazing voice acting of our chaotic anxiety driven villainess. Without her the show would only be half as funny.
Iana really had to aura farm a bit with that reaper line
Hmm, if MC didn't write these villains into her story... then who did? Did someone find her novel and continue it, or write fan fiction for it? That would certainly be an unexpected twist.
Anyway, this villainess show was more fun than I'd expected, would definitely come back for S2, 7.5/10.
Than as you mention her being called ugly because she did ugly things before she got occupied by someone from Earth. As events in the story show Her writing will have some bias placed on people. will but bias in people's heads on how to deal with others.
I wonder who those bad guys are. Maybe Iana just forgot about writing them, despite what she claims. Schwarz le Chevalier is exactly the kind of chuuni name past Konoha would have come up with for a villain (It means the Black Knight in a mix of German and French).
I loved that show, as dumb as it was, and its digs at bad romantasy novels and tropes. Let’s hope for a second season !
i know about "neko" (ヌコ) meaning "bottom" in the japanese lesbian community, but their term for "top" is usually "tachi" (タチ) ([source](https://anime.stackexchange.com/questions/28319/what-is-the-equivalent-of-seme-and-uke-in-yuri-culture/28796#28796)) and not "inu".
no matter how much i look it up, i can't find any attestation/explanation of "inu" being used for "top", though i understand why the translator went with that as the translation since we think of dogs as "opposite" to cats.
so has anyone here ever come across "inu" being used to mean "top"? or do you think "inu" here means something else? maybe it's to do with petplay, or maybe it's literally just her thinking about the actual animal? she is also thinking about matsutake, after all
From a very cursory search, [it does seem](https://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q12142001502) that it maybe has been used that way a bit but pretty uncommonly?
(There's also [this](https://dic.pixiv.net/a/%E3%82%8F%E3%82%93%E3%81%93%E6%94%BB%E3%82%81), but a different term ~~and more referring to kemonomimi and such it seems~~)
I wanna ask my coworkers if they've heard of this now (I uh...work in a related field), but we've just gone on break, alas...
(edit: i just realized that i know of you from a rabbit hole i went down last september about sexuality in anime fandom--i somehow came across your wikipedia user page and it stood out to me in a "how does it feel to live my dream" kind of way. so i VERY MUCH believe you when you say you have coworkers in a related field haha)
and thank you for that link! my japanese is very lacking so i can only go so far looking things up in japanese
a term in english i can think of that's somewhat similar to wanko seme and also follows the idea of a trope/archetype of a broader term is "service top". it's a kind of top, like how wanko seme is a kind of seme. and in a way, a service top's actions prioritizes their bottom, like how a wanko seme prioritizes their uke.
Emotional turmoil for, Sol? Love to see it! She just endeared herself into you so bad, huh? That's right sir, were forcing characters growth into you! Mature as a person as you fall deeper for this degenerate!
What in the foodstuffs in a kitchen are capable of going kaboom? Magical food must be volatile as hell. The place it just sooty and 'sploded, Sol is right to just scruff 'em outta there.
Second season? Oohh boy I wish for it, but uh I don't know. It's a real shame because this just absolutely fantastic! I was beguiled by all her bullshit. Because I just don't want this to end here, I had looked into manga things and thank goodness YenPress licensed this a few years ago, I need more. I'm not ready to let Iana go!
It was the best anime of this season. Iana is the funniest, I love her expressions when she cringes over her middle school writings.
Kagura seems to be part of an organization not written by Iana, which also knows that Konoha was supposed to awaken to the role of saint. So they know the course of the story just like the OGKonoha herself?? On top of that, it looks like there are members other than Kagura: maybe even characters we’ve already seen who will surprisingly turn out to be traitors?
Sol is starting to realize that he cares about Iana much more than he thinks, and I really liked seeing Konoha motivate him to own up to his feelings.
The funniest part of the episode was probably the Iana/Ginoford duo behind the stoves!
Also, I hate that they call Iana “ugly”—it annoys me every single time.
So yes I also annoyed.
Her jamming that stake in after he even shoved her away like trash was a nice moment.
I do dislike how everyone still assumes she is evil even after all the good things shes done. Plus from the beginning I found odd that they explained the magical book would 'collapse your identity' which I assumed could be used to explain her change in behavior, but its never mentioned again.
Now the doctor assumes shes been using yomis life as his plaything while she saved the day. Its annoying as heck.
this somehow ended up being my favourite anime this season. it cracked me up every week - and as someone who was very similar to og konoha in my youth......... good god i felt for her in my soul every time lmao 😭 this anime really showed that you don't need a million dollar budget to be great. you just need a single ratty chuuni middle schooler and a dream. and a yomi. i adore that man.
So Black and White Vamp probably has black or white view on beauty. If they not 10's they ugly.
I have loved that our Main character has not once expressed any form of Jealousy for her ideal creation nor any thoughts that she should have been put in that body not her doomed sister.
I take this in part as self esteem issues from reality. Iana is actually mirroring her current opinion of her self back in Japan including the modest breast common in the ethnic group. So her opinion of herself is both harsh but also recognizes some strengths. Plus I assume her personality is not capable of doing pure saintly almost always up ultimate nice that is her sister an Ideal self she never was going to be.
I wish there's a season 2. Maybe we'll see OG Konoha's BL delusions then.
I’m dying at how quick the vampire king was ended
Damn yeah that’s why I knew he was sus
Say what now
Lol god I hate how she has to shoulder the blame even tho she saved everyone 🙄🙄
My question is can Konoha only be awakened through tragedy? Cause I think it’d be helpful if she had her powers lol
It’s funny how in the v first ep ginoford stopped having her be watched but she hasn’t gotten that the entire time I wonder when that’ll end
Why is he holding her like that lmaoo
Did Konoha just fall over for fun lol
Oh god lmaoo
Wondering if we’ll get more. Not the best but def a fun series. The logic had me spinning lmao.
Best boy is Yomi, I don't make the rules.
