i feel like im forcing myself to watch this anime.

im currently watching clannad and im on episode 11 and about 7 minutes in and it still hasnt hooked me on. i feel like im forcing myself to watch this. can anyone tell me what episode does stuff actually start to happen or is season 1 just getting to know the characters before season 2 emotionally destroys me?

edit: you guys are way too sensitive im not targeting anyone in anyway with this post i just wanted a question answered.

dont take it to heart im not trying to be mean in anyway doing this post. sure first episodes and Fuuko Ibuki’s situation was a nice thing. but after that other 3 episodes is about the person thats a genius (forgot her name) and how shes terrible with the violin.

It’s a romance with a lot of drama and emotional moments, later in the story it gets a bit dark. It’s probably not for you.

The whole first season is boring as shit but it’s worth to go through it for season 2, trust me. You are already halfaway through, might as well finish it

If you don't like it, don't watch it. But I honestly also didn't love it until the story picked up later in season 1 and second 2 filled in the gaps.

You're the only one that can decide if want to keep watching it. If you really hate it, there's no reason to keep watching.

Bro... If you watched 11 episodes (almost 4 hours of content) and you dont like it, then just stop. There's no anime that everyone enjoys and there's nothing wrong with not liking something that many people like.
