Maximum Impact Anime Scenes to Watch
You don't give a fuck about my story - but I'll say this: I've lived a hard life. At times in my past, specific anime scenes have been my only source of emotion, and I've relied on them to continue feeling anything at all. If you want to feel emotion, I've got you with this list.
Here is my curated list of the most impactful anime scenes to watch if you want to feel something. In the spirit of Christmas :) - please recommend other scenes if you feel I've missed juicy ones, I am always looking to expand this list for my own benefit.
1. Naruto - Naruto v Pein. Begins at Shippuden 157 if you want the buildup, otherwise watch 163 -> 167 for the bulk of the action.
2. Bleach - Ichigo v Byakuya. Recommend watching from Bleach 54 -> Bleach 59, while skipping the side character stories. The buildup and aura farming is excellent.
3. Attack on Titan - Identities Revealed: Begins at S2: E6, would recommend watching from the beginning of E6 for maximum buildup - fight begins in E7, but at the very least you need to watch the last 4 mins of E6 because the emotional impact is much greater than the recap.
4. Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc - E11: This is my personal favourite animated action sequence ever. Maximum impact involves watching from EP6 -> EP11, while skipping non-Tanjiro scenes. Absolute banger.
5. Bleach - Ichigo v Ulquiorra: I would watch from 270 or earlier, but Bleach has a lot of buildup. The actual action occurs in 271-272 and following episodes, but you need a bit of buildup for bleach.
6. Bleach TYWB - The Bosses: Technically begins in S1E5, but it's a very very buildup heavy episode. Fight between The Bosses begins in E6. Ichigo shows up in E7. E7 probably the best episode (they did my man Yamamto DIRTY).
7. Attack on Titan - I'm the same as you: Begins at S4 Part 1 - E5. Not as peak as earlier AoT, but still a huge emotional payoff that's worth revisiting. Honestly, this is a bigger investment than the other scenes; you really need to watch from E5 -> E16 of this season to reap the full benefits of the impact.
8. One Punch Man - One Punch: Season 1, E11->12, are just really well animated. Great watching, not especially emotional, but if you just want spectacular action I would recommend it.
9. Jujutsu Kaisen - Black Flash: S1 E19-20: Very worthwhile watch. Just pretty cool.
10. Mob Psycho 100 - Unlimited Power: S2 E12: Good animation, nice payoff on Mob's character, but requires remembering Mob's character up till this point.
These constitute the 10 most impactful scenes I've experienced. There are plenty of scenes I haven't seen: I've never watched HxH, FMA:B, GoHS and other highly recommended series. But if you're looking for solid, emotional, high-impact scenes? These will 100% fit your criteria.
Enjoy, and merry christmas :)

The impactful feelings begin around episode 8 until episode 25: hopelessness, overwhelming injustice, tortured Innocence
Code Geass
The ending, but requires watching the entire thing, I think its around 52 episodes: Premeditated sacrifice fueled by fraternal love
Akame Ga Kill
Episode 2 and then it keeps going until the end, this is a short series, perhaps 24 episodes: Cruelty, constant danger and uncertainty (no plot armor)
Angel Beats
Pretty much the whole thing, 13 episodes, it keeps getting harsher, the end is chef kiss*: A look into some examples of realistic, unfair short lives, being given another chance
Dbz was my first anime ever in the mid 90s when I started my weeb journey. Goku going super saiyan, gohan vs cell, the beam struggle with goku vs vegeta
.. such amazing and iconic moments ill never forget
Hunter x Hunter; the chimera arc has several iconic moments and for the sake of spoilers I wont say which but for anyone who has seen it surely knows 2 of the moments im talking about.
Gurren lagann; super TTGL. Row row fight the power. *nia, im here*. Absolute peak epic epicness.
- Hi we require users to get at least 10 karma before they start posting discussion threads, >1500 character review posts are allowed for new users *But* you would have to put more effort in each anime you are reviewing for this post to qualify under that rule, putting as much effort into each individual anime as you did in this post
