My start of the anime journey

Hello together and merry xmas,

I need your help.

I just started my first anime experience. Ive watched

\- demon slayer : for now my favorite one

\- attack on titan : didnt like it that much, just finished S1 and didnt want to go on

\- Sword art online : s1 ready, very good anime

I need your help with my further roadmap to watch. Which next animes should I try? Am I ready for the big things like naruto, etc.?

What type of stories get to you?

Attack on Titan can be a hard watch for many reasons, there is more depth and understanding of what is going on through the rest of the series.

Studio Ghibli movies are, to me, unique stories that can be thought provoking. Kiki's Delivery Service is slow but beautiful and reminds me of my own steps as I left home growing up. (Abet, much more mundane.)

Be aware that anime explores a lot of different stories and can tread into sexual matters (like SA) with little warning. Dandadan is like that.

It depends if you want long or short ones and also which genre but I will mix them up..mostly short ones you can finish quickly:

It seems like you enjoy shounen based on Sword Art Online and Demon Slayer.

A few other popular shounens that you will probably like: Jujutsu Kaisen and One Punch Man.

Just go to MAL and go to top 100 popular & rated, work through those, then start watching seasonals.

Also, for the long running shonens (The big 3), I would just forget it. They are way too long to get into.

Half the time, the fun in it was discussing it with others while it was still airing.

Although, I can agree with your sentiment that actively discussing anime as its airing is something special. That being said, skipping out on the big 3 entirely just for the sake of being complete seems crazy to me. At the very least Naruto is worth watching and if you skip fillers it’s really not too crazy long.

The big 3 have lost their stand a long time ago. With the "new generation" of anime watchers Hero Academia, Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan have taken their spot. They are basically the big 3 of their generation. They are just to long. Naruto almost 750 episodes including filler. Bleach around 400 episodes including filler and also they are placed in the worst spots. One Piece is still running with around 1000 episodes. In contrast Demon slayer has around 60 episodes and gets 3 movies. Aot around 90 and Hero Academia 160. As the final nail in the coffin, non of these shows are 10/10, enjoyable but nothing that should be recommended for new fans anymore.

Gintama has dbz , naruto , bleach , onepiece , attack on titan , saint seiya , gundam , doraemon , detective conan , hunter x hunter ,baki , trigun , fullmetal alchemist , jojo , all other shounen jump manga&animes. Gintama has everything that ur looking for 😊

Watch **Frieren**. If it's too slow for you, then watch **Dandadan**, if it's too edgy for you then watch **Solo Leveling**, if it's too vapid for you, then watch **Samurai Champloo**, if it's too goofy for you then watch **Mushishi**, if it's too creepy for you, then watch **Haikyuu**.
