Looking for an old anime, please help

Hi guys, I've been looking for an old anime I used to watch as a kid on the tv but can't seem to find. All I can remember is that it's a story about a price that was banished but his head was replaced with a wolf's head so no one recognised him. He somehow met this old general that had a huge nose due to being locked in a cave with wasps or something like that.

I really want to finnish this series but like I said it's I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know about it? I think it's a 90s or late 80's anime.

Edit: the settings (if I remember correctly) was an older time like Sword and Sorcery

Wolf guy 1992?

3ar-3ar2025-12-25 20:57

Nope wolf guy is too much big city gangster. The anime I'm looking for is more an older time. Will update the post

Negative_Set_43652025-12-25 21:06

I think it's one of Tezuka Osamu's works.

Anime style seems the same (black jack) but couldn't find any that about what I remembered

Maybe Guin Saga (though the guy is more of a tiger/leopard)?

3ar-3ar2025-12-26 06:35

Checked it out, seems to be the same style (if I remember correctly) but I definitely remember the wolfs head

nour1121212025-12-26 19:30

it might be Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics

3ar-3ar2025-12-26 20:24

Just checked out a few images and it doesn't seem to match what I remember, but thank you.

nour1121212025-12-26 20:25

Can you elaborate further on what your remember? Or did you say everything in the post already

3ar-3ar2025-12-26 20:28

Everything is in the post. Do remember something about it being in a waring time (reason for the general) and the wolfs head guy was living in a forest.
