What is the anime with bad writing but you actually had fun?
What is the anime with bad writing but you still had fun? I'll say one, The Future Diary, it was so bad written but it's still fun. Suggest me anything. Maybe I'll watch one.
Hi gud_fellow, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, though I think that was kinda the point of that series
Xepherya2025-12-26 02:49
I loved that one. It was hilarious
Gloomy-Response-68892025-12-26 01:13
Domestic girlfriend. It has some semblance of good writing occasionally, until another bombshell hits and it goes downhill.
gud_fellow2025-12-26 01:15
Haha, I know right? Aye at least the characters seem pretty realistic.
Gloomy-Response-68892025-12-26 01:31
Agreed. Read the manga and... 😶...

Azure Lane, not sure if I'd call it having fun, I think the actual plot was confusing and so poorly executed I would call the anime a glorified ad for the gacha game, but still, the designs of the characters and the animation in the action sequences were entertaining enough for me not to drop it.

Around 40 Otoko no Isekai Tsuuhan was a pretty recent one.

Byrnhildr in the darkness. Is it poorly written? Yes. Is it good? Absolutely not. Did I still have fun watching it all? Somehow yes.
PikminPlayer52025-12-26 03:04
Charlotte. It had a ton of plot holes and unanswered questions, but I fell in love with this anime and it's now one of the best animes I have ever watched
GenghisKhan902102025-12-26 03:19
I know many will disagree but for me the ultimate example of this is JoJo's
It took me a while to get into it because of how hammy it is
But once I was in I was in
Yush112025-12-26 03:25
Don't know if you misread the tittle, but it says "bad writing".
PerceptionOk85432025-12-26 03:35
The araraki forgot meme didn’t appear because of good writing bro
Yush112025-12-26 13:57
The meme started when a fan asked him something and he was taken aback because even he didnt remember that detail. Then, it started being used referring to how he would write weekly chapters for most of the series runtime and hint at something on week 4 but ultimately changed his mind on week 12 because the nature of writing for Shonen Jump meant you didn't always have the luxury of pre-planning as far ahead as you would like. Jojo may be ridiculous, and it may even have a plot hole or two if you really look into detail, as it envoles very complex powers and dynamics, but it absolutely does not have bad writing.
PerceptionOk85432025-12-26 14:10
The fact that Dio survived p1 is the essence of bad writing. And hinting at something and then dropping it is also absolutely bad writing. Jojo is fun but not because of a well thought story
GenghisKhan902102025-12-26 03:36
Yeah idk I think the writing is genuinely so on the nose that it strikes me as cringe inducing-ly stupid most of the time but I have fun with it
Edit: I also recognize that, based on the people I know who love JoJo's, this is probably somewhere between a nonsensical and asshole take, but idk it took me literally 5 years to get over the way it's written and achieve acceptance
mistersigma2025-12-26 03:50
JoJo is the "Fast & Furious" of anime. Is it well written? No. Do we care? Also no.
Komorebi_LJP2025-12-27 20:55
Is SteelBall Runn more than that? I am asking because I might start there(please skip me the part skipping lectures) because people speak that its better
ClemFire2025-12-26 03:58
A recent one: Turkey
The plot honestly makes no sense if you think about it, but the characters take everything dead serious which makes it oddly comedic.

Solo Leveling.
External-Site24842025-12-26 08:14
Akame Ga Kill. (Its not bad writing but very fast paced action) the story grips your by the balls
Fair-Group-28382025-12-26 08:20
It should be "Testament of the sister new devil". Even thought it wasn’t that well written from my pov but the scenes and relationship here is really great...🤭🤭

Dungeon Meshi. It doesn’t have that bad of a writing but it’s not very original or deep, yet I find it funny and entertaining.
