[Project] GomiTier – A modern Tier List maker (Auto-imports your AniList/MAL)

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a project called [**GomiTier**](https://gomitier.tech) and wanted to share the first version with you all.

Basically, I got tired of manually downloading 50 anime covers just to make a simple tier list on other sites. It was exhausting trying to remember which cover belonged to which show, so I built a tool that handles all that for you.

# What it does

You just type in your AniList (or MAL) username, and it automatically pulls your watched list into a sidebar. From there, you can drag and drop shows directly into tiers.

# Current Features

* **Auto-Import:** No login/password needed, just enter your public username.
* **Smart Filters:** Filter your library by **Genre, Year, or Title** (super useful if you only want to rank your favorite "Romance" or "2024" shows).
* **Customization:** Rename tiers, add new rows, and pick custom colors.
* **Image Export:** One-click download to save your list as a high-quality PNG.
* **Cross-Platform:** Works with both AniList and MyAnimeList accounts.

# How to try it

1. Head to [**gomitier.tech**](https://gomitier.tech)
2. Enter your username (e.g., `nour405`)
3. Drag your shows into the tiers.
4. Hit "Save Image" to download.

I'm working on an AI recommendation button that analyzes your rankings to suggest new shows, plus a "Friend Comparison" mode so you and a friend can rank the same shows to see exactly where your tastes clash.

# A quick note on bugs

If you run into any issues (specifically **429 Rate Limit errors**), please let me know in the replies! I'm still tweaking the API limits, so knowing if you hit that wall is really helpful.

omg thank you, I make lists for every anime season and importing things is so time consuming, this is great.

* One feature I immediately notice that can get a bit confusing is the "Rating" filter, which filters by your rating, but if you select "planning" it won't filter by mal/anilist rating.
* For some reason when I import my profile, all anime I watched from 2025 it still leaves out a couple, any idea why? They don't show up even if I select both 2024 and 2025 either, and if I don't filter at all and just import everything, a bunch of series not getting imported. Could it be similar to how some covers randomly stop working on custom mal designs?
* Would be cool to be able to reset the series/imports without reseting the style of the list

I'll get back to this comment once I try it out more

1. I'm not sure if that behavior is intuitive to be honest. I could either make it do that, or add another filter to filter by MAL/AL ratings
2. What's your AL/MAL name? and which animes are being left out? this would help me debug.
3. Oh! Sorry i didn't notice it was also restting the style of the list. I can fix that.

mal, same name as here. From 2025 series like Übel Blatt and Zenshuu, from 2024 Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete, Mushoku Tensei S2P2, Yuru Camp S3 specials and many more

Yep seems to work, I imported a ton of stuff to test and the imported entries matched the mal page. Thanks! Now just waiting for that style fix :D

everytime i tryed to add manga list and not anime list from my anime list i got a error, but anime list is working perfectly! (MAL API Error: 400) i checked and everything is definetly public and it hapened even with other username i tried...
