How to find the right anime to watch. Help a dabbler out?
Hello! I use myanimelist or anime-planet to look up animes to watch. I don't watch a lot of animes but I enjoy romance anime occasionally. Can someone suggest the right keywords, based on my top favourites below. I feel like I can never get it right. Any help will be appreciated.
The animes I have fallen in love with:
1. Apothecary Diaries
2. Yona of the dawn (Love the manga too)
3. Kaguya-sama: Love is War
4. Spy x family
5. Horimiya
6. Kono Oto Tomare!
7. Fruits Basket (a rare love triangle exception)
8. Campfire cooking in another world
9. Why Reliana ended up in the Duke's Mansion (was already the manhwa fan)
10. Chihayafuru (a rare love triangle exception)
11. Dress up Darling
12. 7th Time Loop
13. My next life as villainess ( a rare harem exception)
14. Kimi no Toduke
15. The Water Magician
16. Tomochan is a girl
**Also my top 2nd would have been "Ascendence of a Bookworm", but as a LN fan, I just couldn't be satisfied with the anime.**
I almost always avoid harems/reverse harems/love triangles, I don't know why but they stress me out.
PS: I have watched more animes but these are the ones that I liked the most. :/ also if you feel like there is another thread I should post this, let me know. :) I just thought r/anime would be the best option.

Call of the Night
Komi Can’t Communicate
Insomniacs after School
Toradora
Okitsura: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl
Hope someone can help you in your search, but those were all truly enjoyable, light slice-leaning romance anime’s.
(Edit: Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! Is also on the same page of casual enjoyment as the previously mentioned series)
Some mistake it for a harem(because 5 pretty girls), but it's a beautiful story of the MC trying to navigate tutoring 5 quintuplet sisters.
I hope you'll give it a shot; the story has many twists & turns. Truly my fav <3
The Dangers In My Heart (Trust me, you'll enjoy this so much, gets better every episode just don't drop it a few episodes in)
Komi Can't Communicate
Call of The Night
Roshidere
Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady With The Lamp
Oregairu
Darling In The Franxx
Plastic Memories
I Want To Eat Your Pancreas (movie)
Your Name, Weathering With You, Suzume (Makoto Shinkai's big three movies)
5 Centimetres Per Second (also by Makoto Shinkai)
The Tunnel To Summer: Exit of Goodbyes (movie)
Boarding School Juliet
Kamisama Kiss (similar to yona the dawn)
Secrets of The Silent Witch
A Sign of Affection
Loving Yamada at Lvl 999
Kamisama Kiss
Snow White with the Red Hair
Saiunkoku Monogatari
Ore Monogatari
12 Kingdoms
Beast Player Erin
Taisho Otome Fairy Tale
Medalist
For other anime like that, my go-to recommendation would be *Yuru Camp* (*Laid-Back Camp*), which is a show about girls going camping, and becoming friends in the process.
Other similar shows could include *Super Cub* (a show about a girl getting a motor scooter and making friends with other girls who are interested in motor scooters) and *Do It Yourself* (a show about a clumsy girl who joins her school's nearly-abandoned DIY projects club).
>11. Dress up Darling
Another show that is roughly similar to this one would be *The Dangers In My Heart*, which is about a shy loner with a special interest in serial killers (as opposed to hina dolls) who ends up falling into the orbit of his class's extroverted fashion who has a not-so-secret weird side.
>3. Kaguya-sama: Love is War
For this, one potentially similar show would be *The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love*, at least in the sense of being a gag comedy romance (rather, the author of *Kaguya-sama* said in an interview that *100 Girlfriends* was basically taking *Kaguya-sama* to the next level, but this was an interview **with** the author of *100 Girlfriends*, so that might have just been a bit of professional courtesy).
>7th Time Loop
Another show that has the "main character is denounced as a villainess, but is too independently minded to be seriously bother, and then ends up in the romantic orbit of a manipulative prince" would be the recent *May I Ask For One Final Thing* (which, admittedly, much more comedic in tone than *7th Time Loop* because, rather than drawing upon multiple lifetimes of experience to solve her problems, the main character of *May I Ask For One Final Thing* draws upon her fists. And time magic, but mainly her fists).
