I think it's like some kind of mental disease in their world where you get set on fire if your emotions go severely negative. Arthur is my favorite btw!

That’s what I was thinking but then some of them seem so happy the poof on fire! And Arthur is funny if not so werid!

Lol. Yeah I think it'll be explained later for you for the ones that dont suffer mentally but still ignite.

Turbulent_Room39422025-12-27 02:41

Interesting I can’t wait

It's a good show with nice action and some funny moments, I haven't seen it in a while though. I think it is getting another season soon?

Have fun 😊

I still haven't started this anime, is it fire fighters with super powers or what?

Skyllama2025-12-27 02:34

Basically yeah, it’s a post-apocalypse world and the firefighters with super powers aren’t putting out regular fires, they’re fighting fire monsters created by a “spontaneous human combustion” phenomenon

Gold-Bard-Hue2025-12-27 02:45

Oh that sounds rad as fuck

Skyllama2025-12-27 02:50

Yeah I read it a few years back, I thought it was pretty good. There’s one character whose gimmick I didn’t really like but overall I thought it was a good read. Haven’t watched the anime but would at least recommend the manga, which is completed, although it does seem this third and final season will finish the adaptation (second cour starting this next month)

Gold-Bard-Hue2025-12-27 03:05

I saw the hard backs at the book store and oh boy is that a lot of manga. Haha. Sounds really cool though. I was wondering if it was something my kids would want to watch (they're really into anime, 8yo)

Reposting since I needed to mark the source before the spoiler tagged content

Haha yeah I think it’s around 300 chapters or so. As far as something for your kids: I’d probably screen the first few chapters yourself, there’s some depictions of burnt corpses and the like throughout and minor spoilers for that gimmick I mentioned [Fire Force] >!One of the main characters has a recurring thing where they clumsily end up in lewdish situations where her clothes fly or burn partially/mostly/entirely off. You can find an example of this on her wiki page or if you look up “Tamaki Fire Force Lucky Lecher”. It’s not super explicit nudity but there’s at least one instance where she’s entirely naked and only covering herself with her arms!<

I don’t have kids myself so not sure exactly where the line is for 8 year olds but just thought I’d mention them so you could decide for yourself

Gold-Bard-Hue2025-12-27 03:29

That sounds like it's fine compared to some of the stuff they usually watch.

^(thanks for not judging, btw)

Skyllama2025-12-27 03:34

Haha no problem, hope they enjoy it if you do decide to show them it!

Turbulent_Room39422025-12-27 02:38

Yeah they become monster called infernals
