Hi Gilgamesh0000000001, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

Silent witch , dropped Clevatess 4 episodes in.

I thought they were both pretty good.

They're absolutely nothing alike except for the base magic/fantasy genre stuff.

Both are good but very different shows, I gave both an 8/10. Silent Witch is more lighthearted and focuses more on character development, the action is mostly in short bursts and is portrayed in a more grand/epic way. Silent witch also kinda has a "detective" subplot. Clevatess is more gritty and darker. The world feels grand and very much like a traditional/old school fantasy setting. It also has a lot more action! It really depends on what type of shows you like, but I would guess that most people would slightly prefer Clevatess over Silent Witch because the pacing is a bit faster

Thank you for your breakdown!!!

They not really comparable. Clevatess is focused on action and adventure, while Silent Witch is focused more on slice of life and character development. Personally I would say Silent Witch because I like/value the character development more. But depending on what is more important to you Clevates might be a better choice.

They're both solid options though.

Feel like Clevatess had a stronger start while Silent Witch was consistent throughout

Silent Witch for the emotional depth of the characters.
Clevatess for the lore.

Really what is stopping you from watching both?

Or just flip a coin.

I definitely prefer Silent Witch, it was pretty interesting and I loved the vibes. But I may not be the best person to give an opinion on this, I didn’t continue Clevatess past the first couple of episodes.

Clevatess by a mile. People overhyped silent witch trust me. I was really disappointed with silent witch because I thought I will get apothecary diaries with magic but it turned out to be average reincarnated as villainess story but the protagonist isn't reincarnated as villainess I use that because the story follows exactly what they do in those kind of Anime series and also I was expecting more silent magic casting in the story

I really struggled with Silent Witch. The show is the perfect example of how not to portray shy people. Everything else was quite enjoyable.

Clevatess was a blast, but it was only the opening act of something much bigger. It is hard to judge how good it was without the context of seasons to come.

Both are good, to be honest. If you cant decide, start both at the same time and watch the episodes of either one depending on your mood.

Enjoyed both, but Silent Witch is more my type of show....
