Gachiakuta is just absolutely fire!!!
Just an appreciation post for Gachiakuta. I just finished it today and I'm so happy seeing how Bones gave its adaptation justice. The CGI cuts don't always look good, but the actual fight choreographies are splendid, and I just felt really attached to almost all the characters, both protagonists and villains. I also find Rudo to be a really well-written character. Although Enjin is my personal favorite, I like that Rudo is a nicely done hot-blooded protagonist. They tend to be annoying if they're not done well, but Rudo is someone who works out nicely in the context of the story. I really appreciate his personal growth from being a revenge-driven person to someone who sees the value in interacting with his teammates and having fun with them, while not forgetting his initial goal. I also enjoy his reactions whenever he eats sweets (I love eating them too, haha, who doesn't) and his dynamic with Zanka is pure gold. I'm about to continue the manga from where the anime left off, and I'm excited to see future developments.
Okay, that's all. I highly recommend this anime to anyone who wants a good modern shounen series.

Hanazawa kana is voicing a character and many of the other characters have really good voices too.
Edit: whats with the hate for subs?
in the dubs you're getting a different voice direction experience. sometimes this works out well (dbz) sometimes it's fine (fullmetal alchemist) but on average you're getting a worse experience than the original intended version.
You know why the Peanuts cartoons have held up so well over the decades? They were actually voiced by children.
I have a friend that doesn't typically watch Anime subbed because he has a problem with the high-pitched women's voices. So to each their own.
But JP VA is far more cutthroat of a market. There's a reason basically most JP VAs can sing.
Reminds me of this every time: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci8dIpNcyEY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci8dIpNcyEY)
In sub, all the background characters are high quality VA's, but in eng dub only some of the main cast is actually good.
Last anime I enjoyed watching in dub was Cyberpunk Edgerunners because it makes sense for the story and is well done.
I was surprised by the unpredictability of the story, the charismatic characters, the curious power system, and the construction/setting of its world. Not to mention the art, character design, and OST.
I liked it much more than Tougen Anki. Curiously, I had higher hopes for the latter, but Gachiakuta gradually ended up becoming my favourite shonen of the season.
But its gonna be one of the No.1 main shonen animes moving fwd.
Great Lore, "worldbuilding"🤣, characters and fresh art style
