So I just want to know what the whole issue with the Middle School Girl is in the show?
When I first heard about it, I figured there was more of a gap, like she was second year MS and he was third year HS or something, but no, he is first year HS and she is third year MS. Its potentially less than a year age gap. I dont know about Japan but a 15 and 16 year old dating, which is the general ages for a third year in middle school and first year in high school, is fairly normal seeming. Even in the show, this exact relationship was deemed wholesome by the girl and her boyfriend in the first episode that had temporarily broken up.
Other than the gap in appearance and vibe to her actual age, is there even much of a problem there?

Its how people always describe it that confused me. As if he were already an adult or about to be one, instead of them possibly even being born the same year
People on Reddit think a 20 year old dating an 18 year old makes the 20 year old a grooming pedophile. Just ignore them.
