Someone definitely used a monkey's paw for a 24-episode season 3 without reading the instructions first
Jackson_Simmons2025-12-28 17:32
how did this get green lit after the disaster of the first part?
ivo00092025-12-28 17:33
Because it was probably preplanned and it’s a popular manga
kingfirejet2025-12-28 17:42
Japan investors and committees don’t give af about international reviews or the social media shenanigans either.
mrnicegy262025-12-28 17:48
I really doubt this season was popular in Japan either.
exolomus2025-12-28 17:54
Office workers reportedly loved this season, as they could just use their fax machines to pirate and watch the show at work.
TheBannaMeister2025-12-28 18:14
They don't care about local reviews either, the only thing they really care about is keeping control of the IP. They're perfectly fine to run it into the ground as long as they have control
atropicalpenguin2025-12-28 19:09
Huh? The publishing company owns the IP, this isn't a Sony situation where they have to do stuff with it.
chillermane2025-12-28 18:06
I hated Season 3 so much I stopped watching and started reading the Manga. I literally never read Manga before this
SteinerElMagnifico422025-12-28 18:32
how has it been?
SaikyouMegane2025-12-28 18:39
maybe that was their original objective lol
ExpiringMilknCheese2025-12-28 17:34
when its something so soon, its very likely it was preplanned prior to even season 3.
And even if it wasnt, OPM season 3 despite heavy criticism was still doing heavy numbers streaming wise in Japan.
Which reminds me of Japan loving TBATE despite shit production. Guess their tastes are just different than ours
OrangeTamanegi2025-12-28 17:47
Japan loves TBATE? What kind of delusion is that? It's not even a topic of conversation in Japan.
ExpiringMilknCheese2025-12-28 17:49
im talking streaming numbers, im not saying its a cultural phenomenon or anything. But it was one of the top 5 most viewed anime during its season on most Jp Streaming platforms.
OrangeTamanegi2025-12-28 17:54
Japan has a huge anime fanbase, so it's incredibly easy for any random anime with a new episode released to make it into the rankings.
最強の王様、二度目の人生は何をする?
Check YouTube for the Japanese title—it's got up to 400,000 views.
ExpiringMilknCheese2025-12-28 18:05
yeah but not every random anime gets into the top 10 Netflix in Japan, especially not top 3 behind One piece and Fire Force. A head of shows like Apothecary diaries and Witch Watch.
Again im not saying its a beloved and insanely popular show there, but it was a consistent performer on its charts and popular enough. Of around 50 anime that get released every season, i think those rankings are pretty good for streaming ngl.
OrangeTamanegi2025-12-28 18:11
As I mentioned earlier, it's merely a snapshot of the moment when the latest episode was posted and briefly entered the rankings.
TBATE doesn't have the strength to compete with One Piece or Fire Force.
That's pretty awful, isn't it? After checking Reddit, I found tons of people proclaiming “This work is popular in Japan!” based on the flimsy evidence that it entered streaming rankings, even though it's completely unpopular in Japan. Even though searching the Japanese title on YouTube clearly shows that's a complete lie. As a Japanese person, I was appalled by Reddit culture.
PM_ME_AWESOME_SONGS2025-12-28 17:38
When a new season/part is announced just when the current season ends I tend to imagine it's because it's always been planned.
chum-guzzling-shark2025-12-28 18:02
bandai fronted the full $40 to get it all made at once. They just artificially split it up
Katzumoto_2025-12-28 20:54
I mean Season 3 is on Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and Crunchyroll. Low investment = good return? regardless of the outcome. idk
abandoned_idol2025-12-28 17:32
As a person who never bothered to watch season 3 (yet), this is such exciting news!

It will probably release in Oct 2027 and the production will start at February 2027, mark my words

I am thinking the same because when something is labeled as Part 2 it generally comes after 3 months.
Abysswatcherbel2025-12-28 17:34

Others get 1 KV for multiple seasons.

Ponczo1232025-12-28 17:40
It will be funny if people starts making memes that Tamon's B side stole budget from OPM because I looked at teasers and this series from the look of it have better animation quality than standard JC Staff level
KingSammyJ12025-12-28 17:44

Electrical_Chance9912025-12-28 18:39

Between the massive decline in the anime adaptation and the manga barely being allowed to move forward due to constant rewrites, One Punch Man genuinely feels like a lost cause outside the original web comic.
One Punch Man was treated as the golden child by Reddit while My Hero Academia was treated with derision by this website. And look at what position both of them are today.
gsenjou2025-12-28 17:56
Wait, what’s going on with the manga? I haven’t read it since the big Garo fight.
edwinvi2025-12-28 17:58
nothing too bad just a lot of redraws recently
TheBlaaah2025-12-28 18:10
Better to not even read OPM until it's finished since there's a big chance what you read will just get retconned next week
SparknightSyzygy2025-12-28 18:30
From what I can tell, it's best to stick to just reading what's been printed in physical volumes because that's set in stone
MrWaluigi2025-12-28 18:12
The redraws have been done by months now. It’s actually getting closer to the WC than ever.

JamesMagnus2025-12-28 18:07
Was the MHA discourse that bad? I wasn’t on here much in that period so I have no clue, but I loved MHA from the beginning and would’ve expected the middle part to receive some derision instead.
senpaikantuten2025-12-28 18:21
Yes. Basically the Solo Leveling/Demon Slayer treatment you see today. If you like the show unconditionally they'll throw around stuff like you have bad taste. They also love to clown on it as a Naruto copycat. It was the "mid" show of the Anime community.
Anyntay2025-12-28 18:23
Reddit is just full of contrarians really. If something is super popular, they don't feel elitist enough for having found a 'hidden gem' so they instead treat it like it's the absolute bottom of the barrel trash.
If you look around with this in mind you'll notice it everywhere in many different subreddits
justsyr2025-12-28 19:49
I find it funny that people still believe that reddit means millions of opinions.
"People hate this" Nope, just 120 'redditors'. Even when someone finds something to hate or berate it doesn't even reach 5,000 people.
A screenshot from twitter with a bad/wrong take? Post it on reddit! 'Reddit do your thing!' Yeah, 200 'redditors' go and give the twitter post 250 attention value which then is picked up by some obscure blog and say something like "THIS THING HAS PEOPLE IN ARMS!" giving it probably 500 attention stocks and have redditors going "we did it reddit!"
awrylettuce2025-12-28 20:50
this is especially true in the more nerdy subs, like gaming or anime. If an anime has broad mainstream appeal this sub will shoot it down. If a game is very popular, like fortnite, it's the worst game in history according to /r/games
Chilla162025-12-28 18:24
As you said, it was the middle part of MHA that was extremely hated on here. Threads were barely readable and essentially a giant circlejerk. Towards the last season, most of the haters jumped ship so you could finally enjoy it again.
GUMBYtheOG2025-12-28 19:07
I’m at the end of season 2, while I don’t hate it…. It is on the edge of being too cringey for me. If it gets worse I prob won’t finish watching it.
I’ve heard good things about the show but so far it doesn’t really grab me. Feels pretty generic
senpaikantuten2025-12-28 19:56
What's your definition of "Generic"? Straightforward? I feel like people just love to throw around that word to avoid saying everyone's favorite word "Mid."
If you mean straightforward, then yes, it is. Protagonist learns power to defeat bad guys. No hidden plot or grandiose world building. The formula for MAJORITY of Shoun Jump series. The formula that works.
It is CAMPY, yes. The character designs really doesn't sit right. If you're talking about Deku being cringey as a character, that's part of his character development; from a wimpy ass crybaby to a true hero.
Season 3's like THE season to stick by. Two major fights that defined this series. Although Season 5 dipped, it got back quickly Season 6 onwards.
xypin2025-12-28 18:25
From what I remember, it was mostly people getting upset when others like a show that doesn't have the same animation/story/music quality of <insert less popular show here>.
You see the same with Solo Leveling today. The animation and music might be on point, but since the story is beyond mediocre, there are anime fans who will call it utter trash.
A part of the community just loves shitting all over popular shows just because they're not a 12 out of 10.
Otherwise_Recipe_1962025-12-28 18:39
It was pretty bad tbh, the same endeavour vs afo, dabi and toga fights that were loved in anime were called lazy, boring and whatnot in thuse threads, I am still a bit behind on mha seasons due to stuff but I was genuinely surprised and glad to hear and see such overwhelming unanimous praise for it. It deserved every bit of it btw. I've always loved mha.
Tho I'm not sure why that loud obsessive toxic shipping weirdos fandom latched on to this innocent show about heroism back then is something I'll never understand.
BosuW2025-12-28 20:05
It was pretty bad. MHA has its issues, but come the ending you realize haters straight up invented shit about the last chapters to be mad about, and the actual events were nothing like that.
I still maintain MHA is the most overhated anime not because it's actually perfect, but because it's just normal good with some amazing highs and some glaring lows but some people treat it like it's the antichrist.
TheBannaMeister2025-12-28 18:10
It's kinda interesting how the OPM subreddits have seemed to really slow down despite the anime airing right now
it's such a bad adaptation people aren't even enjoying shitting on it
Existing-Parking45312025-12-28 18:33

Naive_Hope892025-12-28 19:21
Sadly,i have interest on it. But seems i will simply move to the manga.
Mataraiki2025-12-28 20:14
I made it halfway through the first episode, then decided I'm just going to wait until the English dub for the entire cour drops and half-watch it then. For all the flak that Season 2 got, the difference in animation quality between season 1 and 2 is almost imperceptible when compared to the drop between 2 and 3.
jnads2025-12-28 21:13
I lost interest and unsubbed from r/OnePunchMan a year and a half ago after the Manga erased literally an entire year of progress with redraws.
Not joking. The manga author deleted an entire years worth of releases.
KatBoySlim2025-12-29 00:43
deleted it all then resolved the arc he was floundering on in like 2 issues with a gag.
LaverniusTucker2025-12-28 19:38
> people aren't even enjoying shitting on it
It's not really bad enough to be fun that way. If it was all like that Garou slide scene we'd be rolling in memes, but it's mostly just panning stills and occasional cuts of competent but unimpressive animation. There's nothing to really make fun of beyond the obvious "One Frame Man" jokes.
redlegsfan212025-12-28 21:04
I have a friend group that we watch 4 seasonal "shit shows". And after 9 years, OPMS3 became the 2nd show ever (Cinderella Nine) that we have to watch at 1.5x. Not because it's bad but because it's boring.
BosuW2025-12-28 19:59

TonyTonynotchopper2025-12-28 20:28
the folk sub actually had more posts than usual, the main sub just became less active because the mods ban everything that moves and talks about the new season
Automatic_Muscle52642025-12-28 20:48
This is the real answer, the main sub mods are on a power trip so almost all the memes got removed and their posters moved to opmfolk.
It got so bad that 1 mod even made a post talking about it, that they're not removing content just because like some imply but it's obvious that they are pissed at the "low effort" content making fun of the anime and drowning every other post unrelated to anime.
TonyTonynotchopper2025-12-28 21:04
the mods really said "we want esper sisters in Skimpy outfits fanart and nothing else in our sub"

Fildok122025-12-28 18:21
OPM season 1 is easily in the argument for the greatest single season of anime ever made and always will be. My hero is great and picked itself back up after some doldrums in the middle act but nothing in that show comes anywhere close to what OPM season 1 was.
Idk the situation with the manga but it’s almost hard to argue that subsequent OPM seasons are even the same show given how different the production team is.
blakeibooTTV2025-12-28 18:39
This is not true at all MHA was one of the most hyped and respected anime on this site during season 1 and season 2 lol….
Practical-Sleep42592025-12-28 19:03
Sit this debate down separately, you didn't like the direction ONE and Murata applied effort into, but they DID apply effort, and a lot of the time Murata pumped out insane pages to fill the gaps.
They still worked hard on it, even if it was frustrating and you didn't like it.
The Anime is actually insulting garbage that should not be making money off the One Punch Man name, and shouldn't continue in the hands of whoever did that.
Stay on target about the anime, it's actually unacceptably awful.
aohige_rd2025-12-28 19:37
> One Punch Man genuinely feels like a lost cause outside the original web comic.
It's such a stark difference from Mob Psycho's success in both completing a popular manga run AND enjoying a stellar complete anime adaptation lol
Bored_Amalgamation2025-12-29 01:17
>One Punch Man was treated as the golden child by Reddit while My Hero Academia was treated with derision by this website. And look at what position both of them are today.
I think that's more a reflection of reddit's true demographics and the appeal each show presented; with a dash of capitalism. MHA is a pre-teen/coming-of-age show. The sparkles, characters, colors, attitudes, character tropes... It didn't get as edgy and serious right away. It was violent but no real exploration of adult themes.
OPM appeals to an older audience. It's messaging, characters, and overall general tone isn't really for teens; at least in the same way the general appeal of MHA goes. OPM's satire is directed more at adult themes and older anime; not really the kind of shows today (well kinda MHA, indirectly).
It's shonen vs seinen.
>And look at what position both of them are today.
TBF, nobody here has control over the budgets, timelines, goals, and overall quality of any show that comes out. What does is people buying shit. MHA is a merch powerhouse that grew over time. OPM probably ran out of steam after season 1. If a product continuously makes money, you keep that level constant. If your product isn't selling that well, you reduce the amount of investment you put in to it. I bet there being a season 3 at all is mostly due in part to potential backlash from fans.

Maurhi2025-12-28 17:39
This whole "Season x part y" thing is getting tiring, if it's more than a year away, just call it Season 4, and with all the troubles Season 3 had coming out we'll see if it can make it for 2027...
Sardin2025-12-28 17:47
calling it season 4 would be a new project and costing more etc, now people have signed up for 1 season even if its split over years lol its all money bullshit
endless_disease2025-12-28 18:17
Why would it cost more?
Sycopathy2025-12-28 18:21
I guess it depends on the contract wording, this guy is saying contracts are likely worded as X amount of pay for working Y amount on Season 3 and a new season would warrant new contracts as the work is no longer measured under the Season 3 rate.
So to avoid more negotiations and budget redraws they call it season 3 part 2 and they can just copy paste costs as everyone's rates are already agreed.
Illustrious-Okra-5242025-12-28 18:36
Sounds like bullshit that shouldn’t be tolerated
timpkmn892025-12-28 21:12
It costs less because there's less overhead involved in spinning everything up. It's like how you get a discount at the grocery store for buying in bulk.
Maxximillianaire2025-12-28 19:52
That makes it sound more manipulative than it is. It's more that the contract from the beginning had them sign on for 24 episodes split into two releases

friendsandmodels2025-12-29 02:45
Exactly! Only if it continues in the consecutive season it can really be called a 2nd part
Fools_Requiem2025-12-28 17:39
Ah fuck man, this is Devil is a Part Timer all over again. We wait so long for another season, only for it to be trash, and it turns out they're making 2 cours. What a waste.
GrassManV2025-12-28 17:39
Keep it, respectfully.
Shadow_Ass2025-12-28 17:41
Animation aside, this season has been boring as fuck, just like manga readers already said. I don't know how the next arc is going to be but imagine this being an absolute banger of a season(I'm coping a bit)
Otherwise_Recipe_1962025-12-28 18:12
The arc is good, the presentation, pacing and the execution on top of trash animation makes it seem boring.
AliceinTeyvatland2025-12-28 18:25
Yeah the arc is good, what they are saying is this part of the arc is boring. I kinda agree, there isn't really any memorable moments from this first stage, and the constant redraws really kills the momentum, the next part is really where it starts being hype in the manga and becomes a nonstop action galore.
Which of course they're also gonna butcher.
Kaaaaaarp2025-12-28 18:29
Yeah, the bad animation is just the top of the iceberg, the pacing/editing/directing is what really ruins the show.
There is also the bad sound design that is not helping at all.
Compte_22025-12-28 20:07
The sound design is what irritates me the most. No new OSTs, bastardising existing ones, horribly placed, repeated incessantly. Like, there are lots, and I mean LOTS, of songs and tracks that were made for season 1 that have not been used in the last two seasons. Only memorable new ones are Graou’s, Metal Bad’s, and Silver Fang’s.
Artaratoryx2025-12-28 18:17
It’s a cool arc in the manga, really heightened by the great art and pacing of constant action. The issue with positives like that for an arc, is that it really relies on an excellent anime adaptation.
tyler9809082025-12-28 18:23
Yeah outside the quality of the season itself, the story and fights themselves have been quite meh compared to season 1 and 2. I’m still intrigued by everything, and want more, but it’s not always going to be interesting.
mucid012025-12-28 18:28
Because the manga decides to add a bunch of new stuff to pad the arc. If they 100% follow the webcomic this arc should be done in one season
SparknightSyzygy2025-12-28 18:34
I read this arc in the webcomic way back in the day and I loved the shit out of it. Then in the manga adaptation Murata decided to bloat it and add a bunch of shit and it resulted in this boring mess. His art is amazing but god I wish he just left the story unchanged
Few_Personality97512025-12-28 18:46
if they keep the intention of the original, being a parody of shonen manga, them it would be good.
but they will probable follow the manga version that forgot it was a parody and tried to change to story to be a fighting manga
Ionsai2025-12-28 19:23
This arc is awesome in the manga but the anime has destroyed the pacing and obviously as a fight heavy arc the art was insanely good in the manga but the animation was horrendous and ruined the flow of the fights. They also used lots of non canon scenes for some reason.
Training_Bother_16632025-12-28 17:42
Unfortunately, the production committee considers it a commercial success, even though the quality of this first part was very poor. It's always the same story: they care more about money than quality and the working conditions of the animators. I hate this.
demurefox972025-12-28 18:04
Anime fans are a huge part of the blame, no matter how hated an adaptation is, fans will keep streaming it and buying the discs and merch. Hardcore anime lovers just have no standards no matter how much they seem to complain on the surface.
BaDTimeeee2025-12-28 18:31
Streaming is a very very very slim part of the margin of financial gain to contribute to the 'success'. Do bit allocate the blame to the anime viewers as well. Even if technically none would have watched this show, the money was already paid. This is not like a game releasing on steam.
dream_wielder2025-12-28 17:42
OPM fans It's time to wee woo
porkybrah2025-12-28 17:42

8daniel72025-12-28 17:43
What did we do to deserve this?
OverlyLenientJudge2025-12-28 19:10
We watch anime, that's enough of a sin already.
yapibolers09872025-12-28 17:43
bruh
mrsirgrape2025-12-28 17:44
The suffering continues.
It being 2027 gives off the illusion of hope, but I'm still expecting nothing.
preppingshark2025-12-28 17:44
As someone who hasn't seen this show whatsoever, can somebody explain what's so bad about it now? I remember everyone talking positively about it years ago.
MightyActionGaim2025-12-28 17:48
S1 was for lack of a better word, insane. From animation to the sounds and directing, it was really good. When S2 eventually came out, all of that went out the window with subpar animation and direction. The rest is history
Sweet-Toxicity2025-12-28 17:49
The season 1 and season 2 animation were fine. The current season 3 animation is very bad and atrocious
NamerNotLiteral2025-12-28 17:53
Season 1 was insane and basically lightning in a bottle. We'll never get that again. Season 2 was okay. Not great, but above average in terms of animation, with some SFX and audio done poorly.
Season 3 throws even that out of the window. There are maybe five minutes total of decent animation in the entire season. The rest of it's comparable to Blue Lock S2, Berserk (2016), Seven Deadly Sins S3, etc... you get the idea. Furthermore Season 3 (both parts) cover a segment of the manga that was basically a continuous series of fight after fight with very little actual plot, so the piss-poor animation hits even harder.
Quna_chan2025-12-28 18:01
Animation and plot
ZombieZekeComic2025-12-28 17:46
I really don’t understand the naming scheme „Season 3 Part 2“. Just say „Season 4“, what’s the difference?
Sweet-Message11532025-12-28 17:47
I'll only watch Nicolas Light react to OPM...because that's the only way I can enjoy this sh!tstorm
SanjiInHSR_662025-12-28 17:47
Not when I'm rewatching All4one vs 14All 😭 feels bad for OPM fans, surely\~ the 2nd part will be atleast decent right?
KJC0552025-12-28 17:49
Lmao
Zado1912025-12-28 17:49
Smart move calling it part 2 so people can keep ther expectations and emotions in check
1000-MAT2025-12-28 17:50
Exactly as I imagined, Most likely, both parts were planned long before the premiere of season 3, in order to fully adapt the Garou arc, at least they'll give it a year of production, which could significantly improve the quality of the animation.
DoctorSchwifty2025-12-28 17:51
The original anime aired 10 years ago let that sink in.
PattyIsSuperCool2025-12-28 17:51
Keep it
ShowBoobsPls2025-12-28 17:51
What are they thinking? Even if we disregard the shit animation, they are adapting retconned content.
That makes no sense (even though I prefer the original phoenix man fight) but still
NarutoFan19952025-12-28 17:51
Uhh... no thats ok yall can keep it
Queue_Jumping_Quack2025-12-28 17:53
Oof.
I think this might be a rare case when the fanbase considers a sequel announcement more of a curse than a blessing.
I guess we're in for another year of bitter memes!
Jack_KH2025-12-28 17:54
We waited 4 years for S2, 6 years for S3 and 2 years for S4. If S3 had released in 2023, it would've been a perfect math.
Kilerie2025-12-28 17:54
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
surprisebtsx2025-12-28 17:54
Studio probably got their hands on some AI and about to do the whole part 2 with that 😂 hey on the positive note, it cant get any worse!
MikuMiiku2025-12-28 17:56
Somehow JC Staff returned
MapoTofuMan2025-12-28 17:57
It'll be hilarious if it airs in the same season as Railgun F. ^(name STC)
CharlesEverettDekker2025-12-28 17:57
So this time they won't have an excuse that they had little time
Still goint to be a disaster, tho

OPM 3.2: The Missing Frames
mischa23v2025-12-28 17:58
that was a really rough watch for last epsiode, the drawing and the animation felt so off.
Keaten882025-12-28 18:00
Is that a threat?
SkyLETV2025-12-28 18:01
Noooooooooooooooo
godin672025-12-28 18:02
ok jokes aside i hope they can get a better director and actually give the staff more than a couple months to animate the next part.
MakaButterfly2025-12-28 18:10
What’s that meme with Ralph from the simpsons
No stop it he’s already dead
Yeah that
Sea-Objective79432025-12-28 18:11
FUCK BANDAI
Brave-Camp-9332025-12-28 18:23
Bruh why don't they invest in making movies like JJK, Chainsaw man and Demon Slayer did?
This manga is insanely popular in Japan as well, they would make huge profits and satisfy their fans. It would be a win-win.
Instead they go all in for mobile games and merch. wth?
Torque-A2025-12-28 18:24
Oh goodie. That means I’ll be hearing the same joke for another year. At least.
monkey_D_v11992025-12-28 18:30
I don’t understand why did MHA succeed but OPM failed? Both are hero themed, have hero societies, like we could’ve gotten a great rivalry between the two properties. I’m baffled by how OPM got fucked like this.
I don’t want the anime to continue I really don’t feel comfortable in trusting them to do anything decent. What makes this a whole lot worse and sad is the fact that with S1 we got a small glimpse of what would’ve been if the anime stayed like that. Not saying it would’ve been better than MHA, but damn it we would be debating between the two!!
Illustrious-Okra-5242025-12-28 18:35
That’s called season 4 what are we doing here
XiMaoJingPing2025-12-28 18:41
At this point just make the anime, pages of the manga, at least then we get good art.
Dense_Union60062025-12-28 18:57
OPM really fucked them selves. Look at Demon Slayer making almost a billion dollars and Chainsaw man make hundreds of millions. OPM was one of the biggest anime’s out there with tons of hype and they pissed it away.
Commentaires
And even if it wasnt, OPM season 3 despite heavy criticism was still doing heavy numbers streaming wise in Japan.
Which reminds me of Japan loving TBATE despite shit production. Guess their tastes are just different than ours
最強の王様、二度目の人生は何をする?
Check YouTube for the Japanese title—it's got up to 400,000 views.
Again im not saying its a beloved and insanely popular show there, but it was a consistent performer on its charts and popular enough. Of around 50 anime that get released every season, i think those rankings are pretty good for streaming ngl.
Let's rejoice fellow One Punch Man fans!
[](#ok)
Others get 1 KV for multiple seasons.
[](#yuishrug)
BELIEVE!
give it time for the animators to cook, thats all i beg of you.
Fell For It Again Award
One Punch Man was treated as the golden child by Reddit while My Hero Academia was treated with derision by this website. And look at what position both of them are today.
If you look around with this in mind you'll notice it everywhere in many different subreddits
I’ve heard good things about the show but so far it doesn’t really grab me. Feels pretty generic
You see the same with Solo Leveling today. The animation and music might be on point, but since the story is beyond mediocre, there are anime fans who will call it utter trash.
A part of the community just loves shitting all over popular shows just because they're not a 12 out of 10.
Tho I'm not sure why that loud obsessive toxic shipping weirdos fandom latched on to this innocent show about heroism back then is something I'll never understand.
I still maintain MHA is the most overhated anime not because it's actually perfect, but because it's just normal good with some amazing highs and some glaring lows but some people treat it like it's the antichrist.
it's such a bad adaptation people aren't even enjoying shitting on it
Not joking. The manga author deleted an entire years worth of releases.
It's not really bad enough to be fun that way. If it was all like that Garou slide scene we'd be rolling in memes, but it's mostly just panning stills and occasional cuts of competent but unimpressive animation. There's nothing to really make fun of beyond the obvious "One Frame Man" jokes.
Jujutsufolk is a hundred years ahead of all other agenda posters.
It got so bad that 1 mod even made a post talking about it, that they're not removing content just because like some imply but it's obvious that they are pissed at the "low effort" content making fun of the anime and drowning every other post unrelated to anime.
that's the story of this website.
Idk the situation with the manga but it’s almost hard to argue that subsequent OPM seasons are even the same show given how different the production team is.
They still worked hard on it, even if it was frustrating and you didn't like it.
The Anime is actually insulting garbage that should not be making money off the One Punch Man name, and shouldn't continue in the hands of whoever did that.
Stay on target about the anime, it's actually unacceptably awful.
It's such a stark difference from Mob Psycho's success in both completing a popular manga run AND enjoying a stellar complete anime adaptation lol
And sooner.
So to avoid more negotiations and budget redraws they call it season 3 part 2 and they can just copy paste costs as everyone's rates are already agreed.
Which of course they're also gonna butcher.
There is also the bad sound design that is not helping at all.
but they will probable follow the manga version that forgot it was a parody and tried to change to story to be a fighting manga
It being 2027 gives off the illusion of hope, but I'm still expecting nothing.
