Hi ForeignGrowth5397, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

Monster is the goat of psychology animes... I was so invested in it when I was watching. The beginning is a bit slow paced but eventually it gets way way better and the plot... Damnn 😭😭 go watch it before I spoil it.

How is this ? I am very intrigued by the concept of a killing machine finding peace and humanity in playing piano. Is it worth watching? Also has the anime been finished?

ravenpotter32025-12-29 03:18

Yes it’s worth watching and it’s completed. It’s a single season. The episode with the piano is one one epsiode and one character who isn’t the main protagonist of the series. And that episode was a masterpiece.

It’s about a detective and is an adaptation of astroboy but very different. The protagonist is a detective who is investigating the murders of humans and robots all tying back to the same killer who they nickname Pluto, the god of death. It’s so good. It’s on Netflix

OddProject47682025-12-29 03:19

Thanks will give it a watch 🕺🏽

ravenpotter32025-12-29 03:33

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen it but I think it’s pretty solid but i only have a few complaints about it like plot wise nothing major. But looking online it’s based on the astroboy arc “the greatest robot on earth”. And follows the detective instead of astroboy. You don’t need to know anything about astroboy to watch it. It just uses the characters and foundations of the story to build its own. I don’t know how is differs from what it’s based on. Looking online that arc is the darkest astroboy arc and the most violent in writing. All you have to know is that astroboy is a robot boy and also called the mighty Adam in Japan.

I wouldn’t read it until you are finished but I just found a fascinating breakdown of the differences between astroboy and Pluto by Siflshonen on tumblr

OddProject47682025-12-29 03:34

Thanks for letting me know.

ravenpotter32025-12-29 03:37

After reading the breakdown I’m starting to realize some stuff is making sense like some things are references to real wars happening at the time in 2003 especially the gulf war. https://www.tumblr.com/siflshonen/752905395480264704/the-greatest-robot-on-earth-astro-boy-and-pluto I guess I’ve learned some history today too. But yeah don’t read this until you have seen the show
