Which anime changed your life?
List the anime that you feel completely changed your life after watching it... In my case, I'd say it was My Dress-Up Darling, because more than the plot, it was the character of Marin who made me see the world in a different way.

I don't know why you feel the need to belittle them.
Watching it now still triggers part of that feeling, which is pretty special. A definitely weird Proust Madeleine, but super glad I have it so easily accessible.
Its a *serious* show, there's like no humor in it
It’s probably the #1 ugly cry emotional reckoning I’ve had with any visual media, not just anime.
My life has never been the same since.
"Whether we live or die isn't a big issue. If you focus on being alive, you develop fear. Your eyes get clouded. But if you have no such feelings... you are
capable of fighting right to the end of the world."
- Revy Rebecca
I’m with you there too with Dress-Up. Besides the romance which is super cute, its underlying theme of being proud of what you love is just so touching. We need more of that in the world now, and it’s a big reason why it’s my favorite anime of the year.
That anime hasn't changed my life per se, but the advice it showcases to me I take them to heart, and the songs give me the constant positive boost I need in my day to day life. Especially the track [Higher I'll Go](https://youtu.be/JKcwym8EpFo?si=bsKBt797o6b5jSQM) - where the english lyrics alone tell me to be yourself, don't become too obsessed with confirming to "being normal". And especially, don't let others determine what your true worth is. That's for you and you alone to decide.
For mental health and emotional growth themes aside, my favorite block of quote is this, from my favorite character:
"When you lose your mind, the limbs no longer function properly... I only realized this after meeting Sakura, but strength means so much more than how good you are at fighting... That strength of his, comes from his mental strength. That's how strongly he felt about the fight"
Goblin Slayer helped me to understand a series of issues i have with my upbringing, isolation and emotional suppression.
and Shoshimin, this is where my interest in cooking began
I intend to watch Dungeon Meshi, I saw some clips and it's beautiful!
The wind rises
A silent voice
Your name
These movies helped me recognize selfless love and how beautiful love can be
Something which has another meaning is just implied in the name so don't worry absolutely not
It helped me deal with uncertainty. What if you gave your every effort for a goal and it was meaningless?
Shirou faced a future version of himself who showed him the inevitable tragic end if he kept chasing his dream.
And it broke him. It drove him to despair. Until he changed how he saw his dream.
Not as something to realise, but something to strive for, even if it may never be reached.
But most striking of all was this:
So resolve affirmed, he does the usual shonen thing of boldly proclaiming his determination and that he'd never give up and what not.
So he goes in for one final charge, his theme and the narrative climax at his back.
You'd think he was invincible yeah?
But you see his face at the end, and what do you see?
Fear. Even with all that bluster. He was fucking terrified.
It struck me as something so achingly human.
Humans can't predict the future. Humans can't control everything. To live we muster that bravery to strive in spite of that.
All we can do is our best. And that's alright.
