Marcus D. Stimac - you know the voice but maybe not the VA
Rewatching 7th Prince when Dante’s voice tugged at my memory. He’s not a VA I normally put a name to (like the inimitable Chris Sabat or the unmistakable Chris Guerrero) but you know him from so many - Carrion in Slime, Gondo in Overlord IV (speaking of Guerrero…), George Carmine from Realist Hero (one of my fav roles in the anime), Eraser Kaiser from Cautious Hero, etc. His unique voice with its gravitas lends depth to his roles.
So many of the great English VAs from the last 15-20 years have gone on to bigger roles in anime as directors, producers, etc. so we don’t hear them as often any more. Good for them, a loss for aficionados.
Are there any other English VAs you know who sound familiar so you look them up & go, “Oh, yeah! She/he was great in …” that aren’t household names?
