Legally? You'd probably have to buy the DVDs or buy them from Apple or something (I think the Apple version has English dub available, but not 100%). Otherwise... perhaps your best bet is to set sail.

Yeah what a fuckin bummer I wonder if crunchyroll will get the rights?? I mean if funimation had them no problem from when I got it 2016 till it went to crunchyroll no way it’s that hard for them to get it too or why does funimation wanna die with them if crunchyroll took funimation over??

I did not find them there the dead zone worlds strongest etc

GoodCarbonDioxide2025-12-29 22:31

They have a few I thought, Battle of the Gods and Broly movie.

As others said you may just find it easiest on a free movie site.

I just watch the Abridged versions.

penguintruth2025-12-29 04:55

You're watching them wrong.

Enlightened penguin 🐧 tell me more

penguintruth2025-12-29 05:40

I mean, really, the dubs, with the rock music? It couldn't be further from the intended product if it tried. I think even the Abridged versions are more like the intended things.

Hey don’t go Elitist on it, as someone who is working on a PhD in comp linguistics studies diff languages (I mainly work on drug discourse datasets within English rn tho) got a bachelor’s in Arabic back in the day recently doing most off time on Japanese as there’s a couple datasets I wanna work with, wife is part Japanese, tons of other reasons I like Japanese,

but all this is to say you can like the dub and allowing someone to get what they get from a piece of art if it isn’t what you get is ok don’t have to be the one who dictates what is good

the nostalgia for people that grew up in the early 90s especially if they didn’t have a male role model like me my dad passed young and then you have this anime that inspired so much with these iconic dubs being the first experiences people had with them like me I got heavily into competitive judo then wrestling still train bjj etc there’s no price on those memories and I know a lot of other people like them too

Already said I like watching some animes in Japanese some in English, and no one has to justify their interests but I gave you some insight into why someone could like something you don’t in this instance and all I wanted was a link to watch these movies and do some pushups and show my wife the new Leglock Lachlan Giles dropped

Also the entire persona / character of Goku is different in dub vs sub so you’re in the mood for messiah Goku to save the day you gotta go dub and the voice acting is better in my opinion for the old school dragon ball and dbz movies and episodes, diff reasons I prefer dub for this instance

ShroomRonin2025-12-29 06:46

And also I misinterpreted your original comment I thought you meant there was a better method not watch the ones I wanted not that they themselves were the wrong ones to watch dub vs sub that’s what I meant when I asked was to tell me more

Wrote this all in three comments cause adhd
