So idk how to explain this properly but....

i did start March Comes in Like a Lion a while back
watched some of season 1
then kinda… stopped

not cuz it was bad or anything, it just felt very quiet?? slow??

Like i had to be in a specific emotional mood and i just… wasn’t. so i drifted away and never picked it back up.

Lately, though, I keep thinking about it again (idk why my brain does this at 2 am), and now I’m wondering if the manga hits different.

like:

* does it get more engaging later on or is it always that soft sad vibe
* are the side characters more fleshed out as it goes
* is this one of those “trust me bro it pays off” series
* or if i didn’t vibe early, am i just forcing it for no reason

i don’t hate slow burns, i just need to know there’s some emotional payoff and not just me staring at panels going “hmm yes… depression… shogi…”

basically, if you dropped the anime but read the manga and loved it, pls tell me
or if you think it’s just not for everyone, also tell me so i can stop gaslighting myself into retrying it.

thanks....
