Looking for animes that are based around female friendships and/or found family

I really like when shows have a strong a 'found family' and friendships like in Hunter X Hunter, Saiki K and Kimi ni Todoke. I think Kimi ni Todoke is the only one where I think the female friendships are really focused on, but I would prefer if the show didn't completely focus on romance in the same way as Kimi ni Todoke and moreso slice of life or adventure? I don't mind a bit of romance, but I would prefer if the characters' friendships or their own adventures/struggles were the main thing and romance is more sidelined. Any ideas?

a couple of relatively quick but awesome watches focused on female friendship and joined passion: a place further than the universe, girls band cry, bocchi the rock, yuru camp, hibike euphonium.

[Aria](https://myanimelist.net/anime/477/Aria_the_Animation) - It's a slice-of-life anime about three female friends who are training to become tour guides. There's a small amount of romance, but it's not the main focus of the story.

I don’t watch them much myself but I believe the “cute girls doing cute things” sub-genre can be very focused of female friendships/found families dynamics with no/less focus on romance.

Ohh thats cool, the only thing is I'd rather have them do something interesting i.e solve a mystery, have darker backstories. I didn't mention it in post but like Friendly Rivalry and Kakegurui are really up my street ahahah although Kimi ni Todoke is probably an exception! Thanks thoooo

The just ended "A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace" might fit your requirements (but is about young working women, not school girls). For more something more adventurous, I'd suggest "Princess Principal".

This is a tough ask because most answers will boil down to romance, cute girls doing cute things, or yuri (or yuri bait at least). Closest pure answer for the prompt I can think of is Look Back, but it's a movie, not a full series. I guess there's also Hakumei to Mikochi.
