Why does Edward always wear gloves in public? Is it purely for style, or to conceal his automail sleeve? For example, he wears gloves in places like Headquarters, Briggs, and Rush Valley. Of course, there are times when he doesn't wear gloves outside the home, especially when he's in Rush Valley. But aside from these few exceptions, is he wearing gloves purely for style or to conceal his automail sleeve? And if it's to conceal his automail sleeve, why does he wear them?
