Help searching for an anime!

Hi yall, Recently I been searching for an anime I saw years ago but I couldnt find it so I decided to ask for some help here, the anime was about a guy that is a fisherman, while fishing using a net he fished a girl, I dont remember if she was a mermaid or could turn into one, but she couldnt stay without water too much time or else she would dry, I have bare memories of the guy waking with the girl and other girls (that also were of the same species as the girl he fished) and in that scene one of the girls falls I think, and the others asks if she was drying, Thats mostly all I can remember of the anime, please if yall know smth make me know I been searching for the name for a long time!

Ponyo, or Tsuritama?

Dramatic-Bus61752025-12-30 03:49

Nagi no asukara?

That sounds like the beloved Studio Ghibli film [**Ponyo**](https://www.google.com/search?q=Ponyo&rlz=1CALUXS_enCA1180&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&safe=active&ssui=on&mstk=AUtExfDmCgsWXshyXd5vJzE0zHdAFG0sb8cfZOeYdJ4--Uqt_qjy_FYtpSS9Hr_7ZD4i6kCRUJ8d6jPXa9xkPHREawdubU9_TvMgN4soe4tEN8VKlDHLrXKXFEsM4wYONV9DNW0&csui=3&ved=2ahUKEwiC-P76s-SRAxVoHNAFHZqhJ70QgK4QegQIARAE) (full title *Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea*), where a goldfish-princess named Ponyo escapes the sea, gets trapped in a jar, and is rescued by a little boy named Sōsuke, eventually wanting to become human after tasting ham and getting magical powers, leading to an adventure as she transforms and the sea rises. While she's fished out of a jar, the core idea of a magical girl from the sea meeting a boy and needing water fits perfectly.
