Just what I watched this year and brief comments about them.

1. Vinland Saga - (Changed my outlook on life and how to live it)

2. Eminence in Shadow - (Everything in this show is so dumb and its amazing! Great comedy, makes me feel like a teenage anime fan)

3. Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom - (Criminally underwatched! Enjoyed it throughly. Unique premise, great voice acting (dub), mature, pretty cool. Black lagoon with eden of the east and terror in resonance vibes. Absolute Cinema)

4. The Count of Monte Cristo - (abstract but the story still holds up 200 years later, criminally underwatched)

5. Fate UBW (2014) - (Better demon slayer)

6. Orb - (great the whole way, good messaging and highly relevant today in how we should act and live life in society)

7. Shelter - (Its just good, takes me back to the first time I watched it)

8. Baan - (very well made, resonates with the feeling of home and striking on your own, personal, powerful, great, good OST)

Some other stuff I watched:

Rumbling Hearts - (Hooked on this mess of a show, it was a good bus crash)

Terror in Resonance - (Amazing thriller, under watched)

Afro Samurai - (So good, fun action, Sam L Jackson was a joy to hear)

Schwarzesmarken German dub - (I love the show so I watched it in german, voice acting had some good moments, uncensored on CR, Great OST, unique, good action scenes)

Rose of Versailles 2025 - (I liked the story and the setting, it was unique, cool and the climax was epic)

Grave of the Fireflies - (So sad)

Gurren lagann - (so hype, good messaging to not give into despair, amazing op, I think a good fit for shounen fans, bravado!)

Chihayafuru - (I didn't like for a few reasons but I think its a good show and its a good sports anime)

Fruits Basket 2001 - (Good watch for fruits basket 2019 fans)

Terminator Zero - (was fun, thrilling and pretty gnarly)

Psycho Pass - (Really good first season and so relevant today, all instalments were good and had stuff to say, great action, didn't make my top because every instalment is so different and muddled my view of it as a whole)

Alya - (I enjoyed this, fun, felt like a teenage anime fan again)

Record of Lodoss War - (OG fantasy feel, felt like I was on a long quest, different from current fantasy/isekai, OVA and TV series were different in quality etc., personally enjoyed the OVA more, thought it was good overall)
