Anybody else feel weird after watching romance anime?
Hi everyone, i've had this feeling for over 3 years when I started to watch anime. After I watch a romance anime (during watching it I don't have this feeling) I **feel weird, uncomfortable, and more.** My head is telling me to stop watching this and dreaming since i'll never get this type of love in my live, just to say it, **i'm 13 i don't know why my head is saying these things**, i'm not interested in any real love. Anyways, this feeling has got me not watching much anime recently, and i'm wondering 2 things, 1. if anyone else has the same trouble? 2. how I can fix it.

Watch a different genre. Come back to this stuff in a few years if you wanna give it another shot. There's heaps of fantastic anime out there which isn't romance oriented.
After I started putting a name on my own romantic preferences (I'm demiromantic, but didn't start putting labels on my own experiences until about 3 years ago), my consumption of romantic anime went down, but my consumption of romantic manga stayed the same.
But like.. you can't fix it by miraculously shoving your future brain and experiences into the person u currently are. You can accept it for what it is and decide to not give it importance (ie you don't have to deeply analyze why it feels that way as if it'll reveal some fundamental truth about you). Or you can say "I could watch many more things in my free time that don't create weird feelings".
You can still be curious, ofc, but maybe keep this question in a small post it in your head and see if these feelins pop up or find answers as you naturally move through life.
You’re going through puberty. It could be anything. You could be feeling weird because you want the same. You could be feeling weird because you don’t want the same. The next day both these things might do a 180 and you feel the opposite. It seems almost like a form of jealousy if you keep telling yourself you’ll never find love at the age of 13 (starting at 10).
Nobody here can tell you how to feel or “fix” whatever it is you are wanting fixed.
