I'm at the point I'm ready to drop the anime the moment MC/FMC says he/she has No Kill Rule, is anyone feels same?
I watched soo many series with this so-called ''No Kill Rule'' lame \*ss bullsh\*t that I know 99% of times those series sucks, especially at action, supernatural, and isekai series, when they refuse to kill someone who really deserves it like a rapist, torturer, kidnapper, etc, obviously bad character deserves to die 100%, so whenever hear phrase about this rule from MC/FMC I'm literally rolling my eyes, and I wonder if people feel same, or you are ''whatever'' ?
Another thing I wonder actually is this a trope that Japanese people likes it? Hence why they keep doing it?

But I can't really think of any examples where characters outright say that and given how you react here I guess it must have happened quite frequently? Maybe I just missed them?
The thing with Goku is that as a Saiyan he likes to fight strong opponents, so he tends to leave them alive as long as they commit to stop their wrongdoings or if Goku is confident he can stop them should they try anything.
That aside, the first character with a strict no-kill rule that comes to mind is Kenshin, they guy even uses a Sakabatō to avoid causing any mortal injuries to his opponents. Albeit he killed plenty before going pacifist.
Maybe it also applies to the characters in Boku no Hero, as part of the public security forces they are asked to avoid mortal damage when possible.
These are mainstream examples tho, because I watched soo many series I dropped or watched just to see it actually gonna have good plot, etc, until the end because of this rule that I can't count them, since they didn't stick with me. For example right now I'm watching Ansatsusha isekai, and MC has the some bullsh\*t role, and I'm at early parts, but we already saw a lame \*ss scene about this. But if I watched this like couple months ago right now I wouldn't remember this to tell you, because I couldn't care less about series like this, don't wanna be prejudge, since I'm still at early parts, but for now that's how I think.
If it's not put to test, then stating it had no point to begin with, so it becomes a source of annoyance.
But on the subject, anime that just finished recently, exactly about this trope, “my status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s”
The No Kill rule indicates hero status because to do that, an individual has to have been able to set aside their own hatred of another individual and instead, they have risen to being able to focus on the bigger picture- like how killing takes away their own humanity and broader interests such as societal reconciliation.
If you're not old enough to say ass or bullshit, are you really old enough to watch people get murdered?
Edit: lol he blocked me
steam is great, but steam as a forum is.. ew
That said, one should be able to see this coming from a mile away. It's not like the writing is subtle to begin with.
