Help me find this anime please

I watched this anime long ago and the only thing I remember is that one character makes bad looking food but it tastes good. And the person who eats this food is (probably) a guy. And that this eating takes place in an apartment.

This is mostly just a side thing in the anime and not the whole episode. And I think by the last episode the person making the food gets good. I remember some volcano-shaped food (yes this is absurd I know😭)

PLEASE help me find this it's stuck in my head

Bad looking food that tastes good reminds me of a character bit in That Time I Reincarnated as a Slime. But, that doesn't have apartments, some of the interiors do look a bit like it though.

Yeah I know Shion but it's not her😭. As far as I remember it was in the modern world

Dark_World_Blues2025-12-30 17:23

I have a feeling that I've watched this scene before, but I can't remember where.

Independent_Clue_6502025-12-30 17:31

EXACTLY!! Same😭 it's hurting my brain

Ryuuyami472025-12-30 17:41

You sure this isn't food wars?

Independent_Clue_6502025-12-30 18:05

No I've never watched it😭 at this point I'm not sure that it's even an anime it could be like a movie or a manhwa or something coz I read a lot of manhwas too😭

hmmm for some reason this scene reminds me of Dangers in my heart.
I am pretty sure its wrong, but the apartment and the volcano-shaped food from what I remember is from one of the ep in this show.

Independent_Clue_6502025-12-30 18:07

Spy x Family

Yor makes bad food for Yuri who still eats it no matter what.

Her cooking does improve later on

Independent_Clue_6502025-12-30 18:08

Her cooking is still pretty bad lol😂 it's not yor

Sounds like Reborn as a slime to me. In one episode his secretary who's notoriously terrible at cooking cooks up volcano shaped dish but it tastes good because she got an upgrade or some knife or rather that makes anything she cooks taste good. And even though the anime is fantasy based the interiors and her outfit are modern.

Pretty confident this isn't it but idk why I feel like this could happen in something like Date A Live.

Definitely feel like I've seen something similar but can't place it.

It reminds me of an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens when Romin is making curry for Luke in order to try and mend their friendship. The curry is made with weird ingredients and ends up coming out looking blue, but it ends up tasting real good anyway.

It’s episode 14 if you want to check it out. Hope this is what you’re looking for.
