[I always knew Kenta was best girl,](https://i.imgur.com/Q5HWpUX.jpeg) [this anime feeding that notion.](https://i.imgur.com/RMaohcJ.jpeg)
To be honest, I'm not sure exactly how that image could be used for blackmail, but with teenagers anything is possible.
Kenta: "Kami, do I need to wear the panties too? Whose panties are these, anyways!?"
Saku: "Some questions are better left unanswered, Kenta. Now I need you to really hike that skirt up..."
Continuation in Spring 2026
Saku tries to to be the "moon" but Yuzuki wants the "moon" all to herself.
Even Saku faking a sexual assault turned out way better than it would have in real life.
Between handling her abusive Senpai and helping her tear down her stalker, is it any surprise Yuzuki fell hard for him?
Respect to Yuzuki for being so upfront about it. Bonus points that it greatly unsettled Tomoya. Bro's having a total breakdown because he put her on a pedestal and hearing her true self greatly contradicted his image of her. He just couldn't listen even after Saku warned him about it.
That marks the end of this arc and if you thought a 3-week break was too long, we'll have to wait 3 more *months* for the next. While it's related to the earlier delay, this even longer delay's likely caused by the failure of the showrunners to secure broadcasting slots instead of new production issues. Judging from the text on Saku's phone, chances are the next arc will be centred on Yuuko.
i think there's a decent chance the end of cour 2 might be at volume 4 if the op is anything to go by, and if that's the case, i couldn't be happier since both those arcs are really long
She reminded me of Inaba from Kokoro Connect in that moment.

(Also, was that a close up of her butt in a school swimsuit? I'm asking for scientific reasons)
But going through life so listelssly afterwards, she finally saw direction when she played against Haru in middle school, who seeing how much of a spitfire and go-getter she was on the court decided to follow Haru to high school so they could be teammates. And where she met Saku, the "kindred spirit" who turned out to be far more committed and dedicated than she though someone ever could be.
Dang Saku, Yuzuki was really willing to go all the way with you if you had actually comforted her in her moment of need like a true prince instead of acting like a would-be rapist. Though I guess it all worked out since it made Yuzuki regain her confidence, and recognize her feelings, anyways and realize she's the type of girl who won't wait around for Saku...she's more the type of girl to pursue the guy she likes!
And with that renewed confidence, Yuzuki faces Yanashita. She's not going to get his leering, scumbag, eyes get to her, she's going to proudly declare she's a virgin and that there's no room in her heart for him and she's not going to give him her body or her heart (because those belong to Saku, basically). And even if he hits her again, she's not going to give in.
But even so...say his name and Saku Chitose will appear! To take his lumps for Yuzuki and have Kazuki film it so Saku has justified self-defense case and he can finally wail on Yanashita himself. Yanashita might be a tough delinquent, but he doesn't hold a candle to an athlete and Saku slaps some sense into him as karmic payback for his treatment of Yuzuki. Even threw in a headbutt and a threat to ruin him for good measure. I don't know what Saku whispered to him, but it was enough to keep Yanashita and his gang away from Yuzuki, so I'd call that a win.
I do find it funny how they only bring up calling the police now when they probably should have called them two episodes ago.
Tomoya finally making his true colors even more obvious by trying to grab Yuzuki's hand from behind without her consent, then trying to pin being the blackmailer on Saku...when it was really him all along. But Yuzuki knows the best way to destroy this piece of @#%# is by destroying his "pure" image of her. Because she's just your average girl who struggles with that time of the month and masturbates to her crush and who kicks in the balls any piece of trash who thinks they can own her. The only thing Tomoya was good for was making her genuinely fall for Saku!
Saku had Tomoya pegged from day one, and had poor Kenta dress up as a girl (complete with underwear) to fool him into a false sense of security. This idiot even got caught on Yuzuki's family car dashcam, so he's completely screwed. Saku tried to give him every out to clean up his act, but he never took it, though even to the end Saku tries to give him some good advice, though whether he'll take it or not is up to him. That's just how Saku Chitose rolls.
With Yanashita and the stalker taken care of, it's finally time to end this fake relationship...even if on some level Saku doesn't want to let it go, even if he's not willing to bite the bullet because, whatever his attraction to Yuzuki, he still doesn't feel he's at the "end" where he can say for sure it's love...though Yuzuki gifts him not only a hug but a birthday kiss goodnight back at her place. Even if it means they're going back to "Chitose" and "Nanase.'
(Poor Yuko wishing him a happy birthday in text form while he's with and getting kissed by another girl)
But even if Saku isn't willing to call these feelings "love," that's not true for Yuzuki, as she waxes lyrical about what it really means to fall in love. It's not the endpoint like it is for Saku, it's the starting point for her, as she embraces the love she has for Saku Chitose, and her desire to make the "moon" hers!
Yuzuki must’ve taken this opportunity to kiss him in part because she was nervous, but I do wonder if she didn’t also want to say: ‘Look at me, not her!’.
I also look forward to Haru's arc.
He thinks sending to jail any of those people involved would have ruined their lives which also contradicts his savior complex. His friends are painfully aware of it as shown in the previous episodes.
I’m thinking there might be more in the NL that justifies being so gentle with him that got cut in the adaptation, but I don’t know and maybe they are just too gentle with him full stop
I wonder what did Saku whisper to him. If it's about blackmail, I'm all for it!
See you next year!
To be honest, I was surprised and a little disappointed that Tomoya didn't suffer greater consequences, but seeing Yuzuki destroy him with dirty words, shattering the innocent and perfect girl image he had of her, was incredible.
I thought the ending was fair, I mean, in the end, Yuzuki and Saku didn't love each other enough to justify a kiss, and after everything they'd been through, it would only have made things worse.
Excellent arc, longer than I expected, but very interesting.
The slapping was more just so he could feel the same pain he was dishing out on Yuzuki and really make him recognize how he had been treating her and why he had this coming.
>I thought the ending was fair, I mean, in the end, Yuzuki and Saku didn't love each other enough to justify a kiss, and after everything they'd been through, it would only have made things worse.
I think Yuzuki does, that was what her entire monologue at the end was about, she just knows that Saku isn't at that point yet because he has an entirely different perspective on love that makes him hesitant to outwardly pursue any of the girls.
I did like that Saku gave Yanashita a painful slap back for every time he’d hit Yuzuki - in the past and present.
That park encounter was pretty dangerous for Nanase to walk into since it didn't seem like she knew both boys were tagging along to help. I wonder what Chitose whispered in the delinquent's ear. His home address, maybe?
Nanase talking about flicking it to Chitose was not on my radar for the episode.
I wonder if she masturbated to him before she was head over heels for him? Yuzuki really pulling the Inaban maneuver, and I approve. The other girls better watch out!
Inaban maneuver? This sounds so familiar but I cant put my finger on it
Yuzuki making herself be the person that first wishes Chitose a happy birthday was such a tease, she timed it so well but it's sad that was the last thing she does as Chitose's "girlfriend". But this break up was needed in order for her to try and make herself be his genuine girlfriend. It still feels a bit melancholic though.
Kenta's the real MVP for making those photos possible.
(Did Yuko provide the underwear? I feel like she might have...)
Just what was it that Saku whispered to Yanashita's ear that made him immediately give up on Yuzuki? Yanashita was still defiantly unrepentant only a while before despite completely getting curbstomped by Saku and having incriminating evidence of him threatening and assaulting Yuzuki recorded on camera.
To nobody's surprise, Tomoya is revealed to be the stalker, working completely independently from Yanashita and his gang, and Saku had guessed it all along. It took Saku asking Kenta to crossdress as Yuzuki in order to lure Tomoya into a bait to confirm Saku's suspicion.
That incriminating dashcam photo in front of Yuzuki's house also certainly helped. Though this begs the question, how on earth did Saku obtain that dashcam photo from Yuzuki's parents without Yuzuki knowing or her parents asking him what it's for?
Despite getting kicked in the nuts by Yuzuki and shown that dashcam photo, I'm surprised Tomoya somehow got let off lightly by Saku. Maybe after the confrontation with Yanashita, Tomoya is deemed by Yuzuki and Saku to be even less of a threat to be worth escalating it to the teachers and police, even though they have every right to do so. Plus Yuzuki did destroy Tomoya's image of her with some choice dirty words to make him give up on her.
With the news just out that the remaining 3 episodes will be aired in Spring 2026, we'll have to come back in 3 months time. Though we already know this series will also have a part 2, which will comprise of another 12-13 episodes, meaning they will have to squeeze 15-16 episodes into 3 months (12-13 weeks). They might have to combine some episodes for a 1 hour special.
Now we wait till Spring for 11 to 13 episodes
Reverting back to Saku’s last name was Yuzuki’s way of breaking up with him. Instead of settling for a fake relationship, she’s shooting for the real thing now.
I do sort of like that Yuzuki specifically mentioned that she’s not going to wait until Saku has made up his mind. She’s going to make him fall in love with her. Yuzuki and Yuko seem to be opposites in this respect.
It'll be interesting to see how that effects the other girls, especially depending on how obvious she is about it, considering Yuko already saw her coming as a rival and Yuzuki was initially trying to be the most respectful to Yuko as the "main girl."
- first 4 minutes of yuzuki monologue glazing chitose
- chitose was secretly an op badass that can beat the bully with ease, whispering in his ear something so scary the bully had to immediately concede defeat
- yuzuki owns the stalker by talking about how she masturbates sometimes
- chitose has evidence of the guy stalking and masterminding sexual assault; chooses to to say "tsk tsk, next time try to be braver". yuzuki approves.
- last 2 minutes of patented Chiramune Cringe Monologue (TM)
10/10, no notes
I'm not going to argue the monologues aren't a little melodramatic and overwrought but I did like the parallel/contrast with Yuzuki and Saku.
Initially they seem the most similar and like "kindred spirits" who both long for the moon and their own ideal of perfection, but by the end we see more of the differences between them.
Saku who tries to become the "moon" and can't allow himself to act on his feelings because he doesn't believe he can call attraction "love" until he's reached some end in his mind versus Yuzuki who fully embraces being in love and pursuing the "moon" IE Saku. Saku didn't believe this was a love story, but for Yuzuki this **is** her love story.
So, she's going to stand up for herself now.
Or she's just going to rely on him to save the day again.
I'm not sure he should be threatening to murder someone...
Oh the other guy had everything on video.
And so he's finally going to fight.
And a smack and a smack and a smack.
So, he left with that guy.
Who's this guy now?
Ok...
Uh... Creepy.
And so he's back to save her again.
Well, that's open and shut right there.
She kissed him!
Well, that's a good a place as any to stop before the break.
Tomoya: 😨 N-no way. Shut up!
Dude idolized her so much that he nearly burst into tears and crashed out on her upon learning that she does what regular girls do.
Kenta: Saku-sama, do I really have to do this?
Saku: Yes, it’s going to help Yuzuki. Now stop whining, put on the outfit, including the panties, and stick your ass out so I can take a picture.

Take your sweet-ass time coming back, Chitose…
BUT when it comes time to confront her stalker who is 90lbs soaking wet, she suddenly finds the confidence to tell him about her periods and fingering before kicking HIM in the balls no problem....i mean, who's the real bully here??
The reason why she easily handled Tomoya well is because he's weak & sloppy at his stalking skills that a dummy would peg him as the mastermind.

I'm also not the biggest fan of how Saku decided not to tell Yuzuki about Tomoya, especially after he told Tomoya some pretty sensitive stuff about Yuzuki's past. Like, it's great and all that she managed to resolve that on her own (sort of), but the execution of it leaves something to be desired, which is a reoccuring theme throughout the arc. Neat idea, iffy in the execution details.
Oh. This guy obviously means me harm. So let’s just go with him to an abandoned place so he will hurt me and I can pretend to put on a brave front and resist and hope the MC of the show comes along and saves me who actually just lets the bad guy kick his ass.
Seriously why wouldn’t she just call the police from the start. You could easily get this dude taken care of early on when he trespassed on a school to try and fight and tried to assault a teacher. I’m sorry but in slice of life shows like this I can suspend my disbelief enough for this shit.
And if this boring MC could fight this good from the start, why didn’t he just put the dude in his place?
None of the actions the characters take in this show are by any means rational and make absolutely zero sense. It’s all so forced to try and make some dramatic narrative. It’s just bad.
Also. Why would you even try to lead a shit bag like the stalker back onto the right path? That makes zero sense either. Get proof he’s the stalker and feed him to the police as well. Let him think about what he’s done in jail.
That being said, I do agree it feels like Chitose is written to just constantly spout feel-good one-liners for the youths.
Do you think in real world, a highschool would solve the problem like this ?
I just want to say that it's not about showing how to be smart and consider that far ahead.
Better just call the police.
Each episode feels like a cringe role-play rather than natural way.
If I were a rascal, I wouldn’t listen to the MC bragging with unrealistic dialogue.
Yuzuki tried to treat a "predator" like a "difficult peer." She used social rituals (soft refusals, hoping he’d take a hint) to avoid the discomfort of a direct "No." The episode argues that applying social rules to a person who has already discarded them is a recipe for victimization.
Chitose forced Yuzuki to make a decision on her own and clearly state her position, making it clear to the bully once and for all that he would not achieve her through violence and intimidation. She had to set clear boundaries, first and foremost, for herself, and not bow to evil even in the face of her worst fear. This later helped her easily deal with the blackmailer.
It’s crucial that Chitose didn’t jump in immediately. If he had saved her while she was still cowering and "waiting for it to end," the lesson would have been lost. By forcing her to speak her "No" first, he ensured the physical force that followed was an extension of her will, rather than just a boy fighting another boy.
Only after Yuzuki clearly expressed her agency and set firm boundaries did Chitose appear. The moment where Chitose beats up the thug marks a shift from passive tolerance to an active assertion of agency. Previously, conflicts were resolved either through irony or social camouflage. Here, for the first time, it's made clear: there are situations where the language of innuendo and gentleness doesn't work. When a clear "no" doesn't work, and the perpetrator violates your boundaries with physical violence, then it's time to use force.
The anime consciously demonstrates that renunciation of violence doesn't equal moral superiority. Chitose doesn't become "bad" - he ceases to be convenient. This is an important distinction.
Society often tends to label those who use force - even defensively - as "problematic" because they disrupt the peace. But a peace maintained through the silent suffering of a victim is a false peace.
The antagonist here is deliberately lacking depth. He is the bearer of pure external pressure, a chaotic threat. This allows the scene to function not as a conflict of personalities, but as an existential test: what do you do when you're forced into the role of victim?
Sometimes, the refusal to use force is what allows evil to persist. In such cases only force allows you to prevent evil and restore fair boundaries. In the episode 10 boundary was set, violated and restored by force, as it should be, since the thug understands no other language but the language of force.
When the antagonist is a bearer of pure external pressure, dialogue becomes a tool for the oppressor. In that specific moment, Chitose’s violence isn't a lapse in character; it’s a restoration of the balance. It’s the only language the thug respects, and therefore the only language that can effectively re-establish Yuzuki’s boundaries.
Until this point, the episode had maintained a sense of a "safe world." The fight abruptly brings back the reality of physicality, pain, and risk. This disrupts the viewer's expectations, but that's precisely what makes the scene memorable.
Overall, episode 10 functions as a transition point from the infantile social world to the adult one, where sometimes the choice isn't between well placed words, but between risky and violent action and inaction that leads to indulgence in evil.
This episode contains an important lesson: never give in to evil, whether it's through physical violence, as in the case of the thug, or through blackmail, as in the case of the stalker. However, evil is more often induced through deception, flattery, and bribery, and this can be much more difficult to resist. While Yuzuki has now passed the "test of force," she may eventually face the "test of the serpent" - where the enemy doesn't growl, but smiles. The growth she showed here - the ability to internalize responsibility for her own safety - is the foundation she’ll need for those more subtle battles. But that's another story.
Though how it was resolved was very "anime-like" and I was screaming internally the whole time "Call the fucking cops". But it's how the tropes sadly.
Can't wait to see more in spring 2027 and hope it keeps the same quality without suffering further delays.
I don't get anything at all... It's so weird how they interact and speak with each other sometime. Like with the stalker at the end. Instead of calling the cops or at least telling anykind of adult about all the crap that happened to Yusuki, the MC just tell him : You should have just tried to talk to her. Now buddy, go write me a punk rock love song (wtf).
Don't know if I'm gonna watch the last 3 episode this spring.
It reminded me of Peter Griffin making fun of noir movies and self narrating his whole day lol
I knew Tomoya was the stalker mastermind but he's so sloppy at his work that even a dummy would know he's the stalker.
I knew that photo was fake because the hair looked too short. Kenta took one for the team.
Tomoya never accepted the "real" Yuzuki & just the ideal person he met & heard about.
I love how Tomoya looked regretful when Saku reminded him of the advice he ignored. I hope he takes the next advice when he fails to heart so when he falls in love again, he won't beat around the bush & talk to the girl & maybe even win her over. I kinda like how Saku never plans to humiliate him or out him as Yuzuki's stalker but still give him some advice after he failed.
Tho Yanashita didn’t really give in till Saku whispered in his ear, there is more behind this or he just blackmailed him with something to finally make him desist?
Saku also mentions that he wasn’t sure if Yanashita was also just a pawn getting blackmailed, but I doubt Tomoya had shit on him and there isn’t anyone else in the arc
But then again, if there is not more why not just let us hear? We lack the context that got cut in the adaptation so we wouldn’t understand the blackmail?
Someone that read the source can say if this is handled the same way?
Yuzuki put up a good fight. She's the best. Saku played it cool as usual. Got the video evidence of that bastard's atrocities and whopped his ass. Just when Yuzuki was feeling relieved after the incident, creepy Tomoya enters the scene. It was obvious that Saku already knew about Stalker Tomoya and he wanted Yuzuki to face him head on. Talking about periods, masturbation and a kick to the nuts served as enough beating to ward him off lol
Nanase confirmed her feelings for Saku but Skau still doesn't want to take that first step.
This Yuzuki arc was so damn good.
Too bad that the remaining 3 episodes got postponed again. They shouldn't have stopped the broadcast in the middle of this season and now they don't have the timeslot to air the remaining episodes.
What were Saku and Yuzuki doing after the confrontation with Tomoya that made them get to Yuzuki's house at midnight?
As expected that guy Tomoya was the stalker. The guy from Yan High got beat up.
Kenta mvp for the photos lol. Bet the stalker guy Tomoya masturbated to that pic thinking it was Yuzuki lol. Still he should've got more than a kick to the balls.
