New to watching anime
Hi! So far the only anime’s I’ve watched are Erased, Death Note and Hunter x Hunter (but only till about the chimera ants arch.) I loved all 3 of these but couldn’t really get past the chimera ants in Hunter. Any new anime recommendations for me?

I'd definitely recommend checking the chart in the auto comment. Are you wanting more anime that are similar to the ones you mentioned or would you like to branch out? I was going to suggest
* Assassination classroom - has some action, some emotional points, interesting story. It's just 2 seasons, initially I wasn't that interested but it gets so good and one of my all time favourites.
* Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood - an OG, previously top rated anime of all time on mal, this was what first got me into anime. Action, military, some dark elements
* death parade - I only watched this recently, it's just one season and more of a psychological anime
* Pluto - a newer anime, I think it's on netflix. Related to astroboy so is sci-fi, but again it has some much darker elements.
If you want to "feel good", watch "Medalist" right now.
If you're interested in a western high fantasy dungeon crawl with the best worldbuilding in anime, "Dungeon Meshi". This one is mandatory for anime fans.
If you want a high production value battle shounen with great pacing, high popularity, and very good writing on top of it (and can stomach 2 instances of failed attempted sexual assault), "Dandadan" should be on the top of your list.
If you're interested in an orchestral Dark Souls adventure with tons of melodrama and action, "Made in Abyss" is also a big one to chew on.
You say psychological, but... I'm not sure how receptive you are of actual psychological juggernauts. "Kaiji" has terrible looking character designs (but great mind games). "World Trigger" is a battle shounen lobby shooter with the best critical thinking metagames (but it has a reboot on the way, so don't watch it yet).
I'm rambling, I'll cut it short here. You really should ONLY branch out when starting out. You are missing out on hundreds of low hanging fruit. Stick to stories with fluid animation and that were recently released, that's a strong heuristic for good content.
