out of all the anime i've seen

how is panty and stocking with garterbelt, one of the most vulgar, profane and sexually charged anime series ever.... also one of the least sexist anime series I have ever seen?

panty has more agency than any other female character i have seen in an anime series

it's like watching a r-18 version of the simpsons. cool concept, but artwork could be 100x better.

it's supposed to simulate adult US animation

I mean sure, if you're only looking for the artstyle to conform to the relatively "realistic" style most anime work with. But it's deliberately abstract, which almost all Studio Trigger anime is, but this moreseo- because the abstract aesthetic lets Trigger flex with absolutely *incredible* animation. It's pretty much their signature and why they're so beloved (that and batshit crazy writing).
