Getting back into Anime
I'd love some recommendations!
I used to love anime but kinda fell off when I became an adult as I haven't really had time for it. My life is finally starting to chill tf out and I'm trying to get back into my old hobbies.
I'd say I stopped keeping up with everything about 2017-18 but I have watched a few things in the last few years.
Dandandan
Friren
Jujutsu kaisen
Spyxfamily
Super crooks
The great pretender
Violet Evergarden
first season of demon slayer
I'm mostly wondering if I've missed anything that is a MUST SEE. My top 3 categories are romance, comedy and EMOTIONAL DEVASTATION. Really though, I'll watch just about anything. Thank you!!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

Then you can hit "Medalist" and "The Summer Hikaru Died" for your emotional indulgence needs.
"Apothecary Diaries" is a great mystery/thriller/puzzle story with good characters. Is that one recent?
* Umamusume: It might sound odd but it is freaking legit. You can start with Cinderella Gray. Though Pretty Derby season 2 is the one with the most emotional turmoil though.
* The Apothecary Diaries: It is slow born romance with drama, mysteries and a lot of comedy. It definitely has some pretty emotionally devastating moments as well.
