Hi Cloudup365, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

a lot of anime these days have an english dub so chances are, you can just search for any anime that seems interesting.

Check out Dungeon Meshi (*Delicious in Dungeon* in Netflix), the dub in English is actually well done from what I've heard. They even have ProZD in the cast, who is a professional voice actor, and the general atmosphere is similar to Spy x Family in terms that it knows when to not take itself seriously by making fun of the concept itself, but also whe it gets serious, it gets serious, but overall is a wholesome vibe.

Cloudup3652026-01-01 04:23

Sounds good I will check it out

I hope you enjoy it! It's fantasy / cooking, but the characters and the deep exploration of their relationships and personalities is amazing and very real / serious. Character designs are top-notch, above most animes. Season 2 (and likely final season) will premiere this year, the manga is finished, and how it ends is actually great and thematically one of the best I've read.

You say that like the rest of the cast aren't also professional voice actors

MegaAltarianite2026-01-01 10:30

Also the word "actually" screams offensive.

It's just that I remembered he was on the cast, so probably the dubbing is not an expandable cast but with many pros on board 🤣

I would recommend u to watch black lagoon and Great Pretender, which is a crime, mafia, con artist genre anime. If u liked Spy x Family, u should try watching these.

The_Observations2026-01-01 04:42

The great pretender, all I can think is the ed song and now it's repeating in my head. It is a pretty good one OP.
