As cringe as it would be I would like to watch an anime around the YouTube AMV concept, are there any already out there?
Basically the title
Its just that there actually really good AMVs out there and you’d be lying to yourself if you said you haven’t seen one yet that you kinda enjoyed.
Music in a way is a very good emotional story telling driver and would add so much more to already existing anime if done right.

Listening to last few seconds of this AMV is like being in Heaven.
What kind of zoomer-speak is this? You mean, regular AMVs that have been uploaded to Youtube? Yea, there are a few, lmao
An entire anime, 12-48 episodes long per season with awesome scenes heavily reliant on the amv style to make scenes including fight scenes a whole lot more dramatic.
There’s also the Macross franchise, which is about 3 things: the power of music and cultural “soft power”, love triangles, and fighter jets that can also transform into robots. It’s got the best looking air-to-air combat in anime, and the first Macross forever changed how missiles are animated. And when they do these aerial dogfights, it’s very common to have other characters singing because music is magic, and it is the fuel of life.
There are shows about music and shows about spectacle, but these 2 franchises are the first thing that comes to mind when we’re talking about a combination of the two.
