searching for anime movie with the ending scenes showing the statue of buddha surrounded by glass container filled with infant and children
i watched this movie around 15 years ago in indonesia, around 2008/2010 probably.
it aired on global tv (now known as gtv), probably around 7/8 am and ended in 10 am almost midday.
i was sleep very late before that movie aired and only able to watch it around near 10 am when it's ended so i don't even know what the plot is about.
i will tell all i remember about the final scenes and later some details if that might help.
From what I recall, the scenes from that time shown, luminescent spirit-like fog that surrounded all the glass containers with the unconscious children.
then the focus shifted to a meditating Buddha statue at the center as the fog continue taking interest with glass container. The scene then quickly transitioned to white screens before slowly fading into a blue sky with the sun as the focus.
The camera then shifted its focus to a bird, carrying an object that i forget what it look like. The bird drop that object from the sky, as the camera follow the falling object onto a bustling Tokyo street.
A high school girl with twintails hair, probably the protagonist, picked up the object with a smile on her face as she look at it, but she also give melancholy look.
Her friend, standing nearby, called out for her to hurry or they gonna be late.
She's nod and she followed her friend, the perspective shifting to perspective angle that focus on the building and her walking far from the focus.
then a Japanese text appeared in the bottom right screens, probably meant "fin".
what i know is the design of 2 characters from the teasers advertisements prior days
they are boy and girl,
* they boy had spiky hair but not exaggerated enough like gon from hxh, imagine naruto with black hair. he wears white tank tops and a short pants, i only saw him from the teasers, he doesn't appear in the ending scenes
* the girl is the same girl that appear in the ending but here she's still children, she wears the same outfit with the boy and had the same twintails like her future part if the final scenes was a timeskip, one particular thing i remember that she look so depressed, that kind of depresso espresso, her pupil have no glints at all, it just pitch black, emiya kiritsugu kind of eyes.
so yeah that's all i remember..
