I just looked up honey and clover and the girl looks like a kid ngl😂

Durinthal2026-01-02 04:33

There are a number of women aside from her, but yeah she looks young.

AppropriatFly5170new2026-01-02 04:34

That is Chica Umino’s art style lol, but I promise they’re all in college/art school! It’s the same creator as March comes in like a lion.

DropNo60272026-01-02 04:36

Ohh fasho, thank you for the recs

darryledw2026-01-02 04:27

ActualRound76992026-01-02 04:46

it is to me. it’s a slow burn character study. but I enjoy it

DropNo60272026-01-02 04:47

Im okay with slow burn, do they get together in the end ? Imma still watch it regardless

ActualRound76992026-01-02 04:51

from what I recall there’s a satisfying conclusion! just don’t recall which way it goes

DropNo60272026-01-02 04:52

Okay i appreciate you actualround7699

Kerzic2026-01-02 05:19

I liked Sing Yesterday for Me but it's a darker and less tidy story than a feel-good romance.

FlaviusVespasian2026-01-02 04:44

Awkward Senpai just ended. It was pretty good.

DropNo60272026-01-02 04:44

Yes, i just finished it the other day actually

mortemdeus2026-01-02 04:52

Recovery of an MMO junkie.

SongsAbout-Leaving-2026-01-02 04:58

Is the ice guy one actually good? I tried watching it but turned it off after like 10 minutes cause it seemed so corny lol. Might give it another shot and at least get through the pilot

DropNo60272026-01-02 04:59

I actually liked it tbh, it was a chill watch.. im not saying its a top 10 romance anime buts a solid watch. You should definitely try giving it another watch

SongsAbout-Leaving-2026-01-02 05:54

Aight

Retromorpher2026-01-02 06:37

It is not. Absolutely horrible dialog.

Kerzic2026-01-02 05:15

**Maison Ikkoku** (a classic from 1986 with college age protagonists -- 96 episodes with a complicated story and written by a woman, Rumiko Takahashi, for a boys/men's magazine, so it does a good job with both the male and female characters)

**365 Days to the Wedding**

**Itakiss** (starts out as a high school romcom but advances into college and even later in life)

**Rec** (from 2006, a romance/comedy that's distinct in that the romance starts out with a one night stand)

djthomp2026-01-02 21:55

Holy shit, Rec, I've been trying to remember the name of that one for years.

Kerzic2026-01-02 22:42

I see you just added it to your anime list. Glad I could help.

djthomp2026-01-02 23:48

Yeah, I remember watching it way back when it originally aired which was long before I was keeping track.

OnePercentage15562026-01-02 05:52

The Girl Downstairs is really good, man, seriously! I'm even surprised that anyone knows about it, to be honest.

DropNo60272026-01-02 05:53

So good bro, i really fw it

runevault2026-01-02 06:26

Girl downstairs is the korean one where it is about an idol or musician who left the industry and her neighbor who meets her yes? If so I randomly found it on Youtube like half a year ago and was surprised how good it was.

OnePercentage15562026-01-02 20:11

That's the one. Man, it's fucking awesome that, like, the guy got SAD because he didn't like the girl he always liked anymore, and the most impressive thing is: HE DOESN'T CHANGE HIS MIND. Absolute cinema.

Fluffy_Grapefruit02026-01-02 06:16

elustran2026-01-02 06:25

Solo Camping for Two.

As adult as having coffee in the morning before doing your taxes.

DropNo60272026-01-02 06:33

I watched the first 12 and i stop catching up with it, have you finished it ? And if so do they get together?

Prize_Hat2892026-01-02 19:00

Yes they got together in the end. It was sweet and endearing. It was the two anime series I finished this season.

UltiMikee2026-01-02 06:42

Kowloon Generic Romance had me hooked last Summer

DropNo60272026-01-02 06:44

I started this one but i watched the first ep and havent picked it back up, i will tho.. but do her and ole dude get together ?

UltiMikee2026-01-02 07:04

Lmao why would you want to know this

DropNo60272026-01-02 07:06

I just wanted to know if the ml and fml get together😂

UltiMikee2026-01-02 07:10

But that’s the whole point of the show lmao

TheBusStop122026-01-02 15:55

Not all romance shows have a happy ending, and some are eternal "will they won't they" with no resolution. Personally, I really dislike stuff like that so I want to know beforehand of they actually get together or not. Otherwise I'll just not bother watching because it isn't for me. So I can understand asking

AveryLazyCovfefe2026-01-02 20:50

Ditto. I loved the art style the series went with too.

UltiMikee2026-01-02 20:53

It’s got a very retro, nostalgic artstyle and that’s a choice that serves the narrative about memory and nostalgia really well.

AwesomeNino2026-01-02 06:48
