Looking for farming animes

Watching Farming life and I wish there was more, possibly slower ones?
I do enjoy the isekai style like the “coming from nothing” but being really smart about it but doesn’t have to be isekai.

If theres anything like that, it would be amazing ty!

Hi Original-Row-219, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The best farming anime is Silver Spoon. About a city kid who burns out of the competitive academic grind in Japan, and chooses to attend a dorm-style Agricultural Trade HIgh School in rural Hokkaido. A lot of it is about the clashes in values of people who grow up outside of farming and ideas and attitudes about livestock.

It's incredibly well done with a lot of realism, since the author of the original manga (Arakawa Hiromu) grew up on a dairy farm in rural Hokkaido and attended an Agricultural High School--upon which the High School in the manga is very faithfully based.

Also, Arakawa is the author of Full Metal Alchemist among several other really great manga and the humor and storytelling is top notch.

Same! I love watching anime like that, they are truly the best! but when you say, “coming from nothing but being smart about it,” do you prefer the farming/realistic strategy style, or more fantasy/isekai problem-solving? I’ve got a few favorites that mix both vibes, and I’d love to swap recommendations with you

I think it depends on what you wanted. Vinland Saga was never intended as this bloody war and Viking anime. It’s a philosophical exploration of survivor guilt and the cycle and consequences of violence.

I thought season 2 did a good job of that having Thorfinn explore his humanity and the humanity he was taking away.

so you don’t like deep anime - that’s totally cool. I promise you’ll hate an eventual third season of it when it ever comes out lol

MaoYuu. Though it’s not a huge part of the story, it’s an important part of the demon kings strategy to aide the people around her.
