This outfit gag is definitely one of the best in the series

Seinen slice-of-life is one my of favorite anime genres. K-ON! is easily a top 10 show for me.

How do you feel about Clannad?

davidwhaymond2026-01-04 18:28

I like it. I generally have had pretty mixed responses to most Key VN adaptations (maybe I'm just getting too old), but Clannad is probably the best. The characters are great and there are many very memorable moments. The second season in particular does suffer from plotting and pacing issues IMO (I don't care for the ending), but overall, KyoAni did a great job.

I never read the VN for Clannad. Is it as good as/better than the anime, in your opinion?

davidwhaymond2026-01-04 20:52

I haven't read it. I would expect it is better at least in some ways (adapting VNs are probably trickier than most other source material), but I just don't want to put in the large amount of time required to read it.

Need to watch K-ON! again.

Just a reminder who was the best girl in the series.

[Song](https://youtu.be/nhDaz7DgM_g?si=RPWhBJZcVgYVdixl) for reference.

That song goes unreasonably hard for a cgdct show

Anime peaked with K-On! and we never recovered.

Not gonna lie, kind of weird for a teacher to show up at a student's house.

Sawa-chan sounds a bit like Yuzuki Choco.

Calvin_RH_7052026-01-02 16:24

Best girls, all of them.

Like Mio fanclub membership increasing!

(Considering she gets compromised again)
