Hi aqulioadler1, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

There aren't that many. I'd say the other main two are:

High School of the Dead and Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

Silvermoon34672026-01-02 20:19

"Koutetsujou no Kabaneri" is aka "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" for anyone wondering, it's quite excellent and I also recommend

King_Cure_Slime2026-01-02 20:58

Same here, Kabaneri is one of the best I’ve seen.

Prize-Handle-62122026-01-02 21:21

Watched Kabaneri of the iron fortress yesterday and it was amazing

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-02 21:31

Honestly at least in terms of its production it's probably one of the most impressive anime out there. Amazing animations, gorgeous character designs from Mikimoto, great music, Wit's visuals, and Araki's direction.

Did you check out the follow up Unato OVA/Movie?

Prize-Handle-62122026-01-02 21:52

I plan on watching OVA tomorrow

Zom 100 is pretty good and lighthearted

andresvrs2026-01-02 20:12

Shiki (it's not Zombies as is but must watch imo), Sanka Rea, Zombieland Saga, Kore Wa Zombie desu ka, Kabaneri (I guess it's zombies).

There is also another one that I would love to say but telling you it's of Zombies it's the major spoiler as is

archklown5552026-01-02 20:28

It's not a zombie show though it's just a normal slice of life.

Nachtwandler_FS2026-01-02 20:42

Definetely not a zombie show.

PerceptionOk85432026-01-02 23:49

Yeah I don’t get the recommendation, it’s another SoL just like Madoka Magika

Worth_Dependent65322026-01-02 20:13

High School of The Dead. You can thank me later, but without shaking hands ;)

FlaviusVespasian2026-01-02 20:14

Zombieland Saga!

Yotsubato2026-01-02 20:44

100% yes

davidwhaymond2026-01-02 21:10

This show is one of my favorites and I can't recommend it enough.

Yush112026-01-02 20:20

Zom100 is a bit different from other zombie shows. So, if you just want zombie related anime, there's Zombieland Saga and Is This A Zombie?. More typical ones (and household names already) would be: Hellsing, Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress and Highschool Of The Dead.

They're all enjoyable to some degree, though some more than others.

8838z2026-01-02 21:18

Ugh, not OP here but I had a hard time going through "Kore wa Zombie Desu-ka?!" aka "Is This A Zombie?". I guess my frontal lobe was too developed for it.

Miku-Nakano-2026-01-02 21:34

Its because its a very early or mid 2000s anime. I get nostalgic watching clips of it.

8838z2026-01-02 21:40

Fair, to each their own. Did you have a favorite FMC?

KTGomasaur2026-01-02 20:24

If were talking zombie adjacent I would say nyaat of the living dead. Everything you love about zombie apocalypse, running and hiding, being put in survival situations, social drama but you arent becoming zombies instead the plague is turning into cats. If a cat touches you, yiu become a cat. It's goofy but a great watch

8838z2026-01-02 20:30

Zombie Loan

Alt22212026-01-02 20:33

none. there are some decent ones but none are 'must watch' quality

theEvilQuesadilla2026-01-02 21:12

You know there are only like 4, right?

*Highschool Of The Dead* - best zombocalypse anime, but seriously hindered by the fanservice IMO. Also, Saeko is best waifu in anything ever

*Zom100* - great twist on zombocalypse but is closer to the live-action film *Zombieland* in its tone.

*Zombie Land Saga* - no zombocalypse, just zombie idols.

*Is This A Zombie?* - I don't even remember the story but MC is a zombie. So, you know, if that even counts.

BrandonIsWhoIAm2026-01-02 21:20

Zom 100.

Ashteron2026-01-02 21:20

Nyaight of the Living Cat

LatinaMom322026-01-02 21:27

Highschool of the Dead! If only for Rei Miyamoto.

Ficsonium2026-01-02 21:48

Favorite one is Zom100. The other ones were fine, i wouldn’t even recommend them tbh

removed_again_422026-01-02 23:52

Highschool of the dead

MaintenanceIcy77122026-01-03 09:28

Itzz_D4rk2026-01-04 14:47
