To me, it is extremely insightful and the amount of effort put into this should be recognized. The level of detail is incredible and he put so much work into what I feel is one of the greatest anime episodes of all time.
30 times over.
You're free to nominate it and I'm free to disagree with that.
But then my final 100gfs best girl ranking wouldn't be allowed!

(I still remember because it's the first - and only - time I went above character limit hah)
About this comment: I think I kinda get the logic, they want "essay" to be someone making a thread about something, and "best comment" being someone commenting on another topic (be it a random thread, or an episode thread or what not), no matter the length.
I might make an exception for that cus I'd suspect a good part of it missing the limit is the formatting alone with all the characters for the table eating a good chunk of the limit. Plus this is all just my personal take anyway. Afterall there already is precedent for picking comments that went beyond the character limit.

But they don't. [Or atleast didn't in the past.](https://old.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1hubixk/best_of_ranime_2024_edition_index/m5l2wxz/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=usertext&utm_name=anime&utm_content=t1_nxhckz0)

A trend in sillypion's comments in the lead up to episode 19 is him talking about the little pieces. These things are meant to examine Taiga's love for Christmas. But in this part, he reveals he did this to explain how Taiga ended up losing her pieces, which is the name of the song that plays during the big scene in episode 19.
It's a clever turn of events and I found myself captivated by this. I was not expecting the teist.
Látom 🙏

I wanted to nominate /u/Nebresto asking *what the ducc doin'?* in response to a picture of a goose but I've checked it and the imgur link is now dead. That kills the humour slightly.

If only CDFers were capable of more than 1 good comment per year.
> [I didn’t want to be too hasty last season, but this all but confirms it, Tino has earned the prestigious award of most slappable butt in anime history. Fire force take notes this is how you do a REAL fanservice character. The subtle framing of ass, thigh and pit shots, the teasing of what’s underneath with a lewd but not technically lewd outfit, not having any characters call attention to it. My god, It’s perfect.. better than pure ecchi anime even.](https://old.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1o3ynxz/nageki_no_bourei_wa_intai_shitai_season_2_let/nizbl3n/)
Succinct summary of why Tino's *ass*ets kept appearing on the karma charts.
So you have not my vote
I'd like to nominate u/FD4cry1's [comment](https://old.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1ih1c8u/rewatch_yona_of_the_dawn_episode_16_discussion/matd5lj/) from my Yona of the Dawn rewatch (contains spoilers) for a thoughtful analysis of the antagonist and his complex role in the story. One of the things I love about rewatches is reading other perpectives like this which can help me see my favorite series in a new light.
