So three years.
Like you should've been gone before the first half of season 1 in that case
If you don't like her then I don't get how you could get through season 1 much less make it to season 2.
The focus of Buddy Daddies is much more on the daddies and their relationship with Miri & each other as well as their struggle to balance co-parenting and assassin work than it is on Miri and her day-to-day life at school.
I care about Anya.
"I didn't care for their character."
"But they're realistic!"
What does that have to do with what they said?
I liked Miri, but she was more of a plot device used to further the character development of the leads than she was her own character.
BUT, it was simply an original that came out a while ago, most things that are often talked about are seasonals nowadays, if they weren't already cemented as a classic by the time seasonals really took over. Hell, there are absurdly popular shows that don't get talked about much as soon as a season or two passes haha.
It didn't do anything particularly wrong, was most likely just potentially glossed over BECAUSE Spy x Family exists, and I'm sure there's more than a few people that looked at it, went "ehh, yaoi" and then never looked back without actually trying out the show.
Sadly for one offs they kinda just disappear if there isn’t any follow up material or if they don’t get popular enough.
Now you're making me look for the 1+ plus long review/summary I noticed get posted or possibly reposted a week or two ago.
Amd as some have pointed out, it was popular when it was airing, people who liked it still will suggest it, but beyond that there's nothing new to add so it doesn't get talked about any more.
Pretty sure most people have heard about Log Horizon 🤔
imagine people talk a bunch about it when it came out
Basically it's a solid 7/10, maybe 8/10 anime if you want to be generous, but most people only talk about 9 or 10s.
How are you going to approach this from a sequel standpoint? Have a group of assassins trying to murder the daddys for past vendetta? That's Sakamoto Days.
While technically they could go the midquel route and show the struggles they face to get their cafe up and running but that won't add anything new to the story.
Hina Kino did a great job voicing a 4 year old girl. She actually sounded like a convincing child.
It also had a really good dub.
