Guys i dont know what happened
Hello there this might seems weird or random but I noticed i just dropped all animes and mangas etc out of the blue, i cant tell if after 8 years i lost interest or what but yea i just made this to yap a bit, these last few years for school and so on i stopped watching as many animes and someone might tell me “you should watch it when you feel like it” or “watch them because of a passion” or something but i never thought i lost interest, i would like to return but i got so many things to see(over 30 animes etc) and i think that’s what stopping me but i also know if i dont start the list will become only bigger soo idk this post has no real meaning just wanted to talk about it (i didnt know which tag would fit this better sorry) P.S idk if it’s burnout or the sheer number of animes is killing me

Why commit to watching more than 1 anime really?
1. I concentrate on reading completed manga one at a time.
2. I have maybe 10 ongoing manga that I follow and use the mangapin app to sort my manga and keep track of it. Then I use the plan section to keep a list of stuff I'm not actively reading or want to read later so it never overwhelms me.
3. Same for anime, I don't actually keep up with seasons. I let entire seasons collect and watch in one go, one at a time. For certain long running animes, that means sometimes I let 8 seasons pass before I start watching. I actively try not watch anime of ongoing manga (I have a few exceptions).
4. You're allowed to take breaks and just stop for a while. It's pretty healthy and normal. I took a good 5-6 year gap after I graduated, got married, and started having kids. My consumption as an adult looks nothing like it was when I was in school. Things change, it's and that's okay.
5. Don't pressure yourself into this demographic. If you're tired of demographic, watch another demographic. There's no way I could ever watch/read shoujo josei only.
6. I have a lot of other hobbies. I cycle between them.
