Broadcast July 2026
On an April night in Tokyo, still too early for fireworks, university student Kakeru Sorano meets a woman named Koharu Fuyutsuki. She is a beautiful girl who stands out from the crowd, laughs a lot, and exudes a warmth that contrasts sharply with Kakero's own introversion. But there was something Kakeru didn't know at first—she can't see. Unlike Kakeru, Koharu hasn’t given up on anything, even with her blindness. She attends university daily, shows interest in clubs, makes friends—and dreams of launching fireworks one day. Kakeru wonders why, when she can’t see them...but maybe it doesn’t matter. And maybe he can start moving forward, too, for the girl who’s always been by his side. ([Yen Press](https://yenpress.com/titles/9798855400717-love-unseen-beneath-the-clear-night-sky))

So, Hayamin is like voicing 2 blind characters in the same year
BaytaCosmico2026-01-04 13:50
What's the other one?
Ocixo2026-01-04 13:58
Probably this season’s [Kunon the Sorcerer Can See](https://myanimelist.net/anime/60810).
BaytaCosmico2026-01-04 16:30
Ah, this one wasn't on my radar. If it has Hayamin, I shall give it a go even though my seasonal watchlist is already overstuffed. I end up having at least one Hayamin show as a surprise favourite each season, so simply can't overlook anything she's in.

Quite an experience for her, She voiced deaf character before, & now blind characters too.
TermEnvironmental8122026-01-05 12:42
It's even funnier that both male MC are voiced by Miyu Irino
Yo the background has to refocus everytime you scroll that's so cool
Emi_Ibarazakiii2026-01-04 20:21
Wait, are we getting another anime with a blind girl soon?
I recall an upcoming anime about a blind girl that made me think of Lilly Satou (Katawa Shoujo) but I'm not sure it's this one... The other one's description was spot on Lily.

So they retained the PV cast. '*A Silent Voice*' reunion between Miyu-Miyu and Hayamin. Fitting as this series has a similar vibe.

This was a great read so looking forward to seeing it animated. The background screenshots on the website are very high quality. Hope they can animate it well.
darryledw2026-01-04 13:02
that is a very beautiful visual and the story sounds like it could have some good feels
Aerodynamic412026-01-04 13:20
I wonder how many episodes it's gonna be? I know there's a second LN released in Japan, but the first LN already told a complete story that it might as well be a one-shot.

Fern is that you
arj_paradox2026-01-04 15:59
With Tragic Story
-Boton-2026-01-04 14:02
This looks interesting. It has a bit of a "The fragrant flower blooms with dignity" vibe.
hikoboshi_sama2026-01-04 15:51
Interesting premise, not to mention the LN and manga are both pretty highly rated. Definitely gonna give this a watch. Might even read either the manga or LN.
arj_paradox2026-01-04 16:00
Go for LN. It is translated
arj_paradox2026-01-04 16:02

Emi_Ibarazakiii2026-01-04 20:18
Hah, was thinking the same;
Expecting a rollercoaster of feels, and hopefully not too tragic an ending!

I wish I had known that sooner!
arj_paradox2026-01-05 02:48

Zypharium2026-01-08 08:17
Great, this is exactly what I need now. No /s, of course.
Seraphic_Wings2026-01-04 18:54
As someone who read the LN (the main story, not the heroine's POV one), all I can say is
If you guys are watching this, prepare tissues
A lot
That said, this is one of the most beautiful coming-of-age romance story I've ever read, and the feels this story gives you will surpass YLIA
TermEnvironmental8122026-01-06 05:46
I've read around 2/3 of the novel. I guess I'm gonna be in sales mode for this anime until summer
