It's kind of hilarious how SI-VIS slipped into the chart on what should have been its break week only because one of the streamers fucked up and uploaded the episode early. Still, I'm not complaining. It's criminally underwatched, and maybe this might get at least a couple more people to check it out.
Same with Princession too, but that one's more understandable because it's unlicensed.

You should know the Spy x Family karma is incorrect above, the 1033 listed above was its karma only for the first 23 hours. Apparently your tracking website got confused that weekend, who knows. But you can see episode 13, at least part of its karma, reaching that number at hour 23. Not sure if it would be higher than Kaguya or not, but they'd definitely be very close as SxF episode 13 was above 1.2k karma an hour or two after the first 48 hours. I would say maybe 10-20 karma at most in favor of Kaguya, if it was even above.

The tracking website definitely got confused somewhere. I think at least when it comes to the SxF karma, it was maybe the transition between seasons that confused the tracker, as Spy X Family S3 Episode 13 can only be found in Winter 2025 right now, lol, which of course makes no sense as the season aired in Fall 2025, so at most it would be Winter 2026 where the episode shows up, not 2025.

Comparing it with other graphs it does look like it would have still ended up below Kaguya but as you say it would have been very close.

First 24 hours it was ahead of Kaguya, you can compare the two, Kaguya needed 26 hours to get past 1k karma while Spy x Family only took 21 hours. But they were on different days with different traffic and also there was much more movement when Spy x Family came out, meaning it slipped off the front page quicker.
I still say Kaguya PROBABLY won (not 100% sure), but they were very close.

It's clearly a transition week, as we have a mix of leftovers from Fall 2025, new titles from Winter 2026, special episodes of **Kaguya-sama: Love Is War** and **Watanare** (which aired on the last day of the year), and one movie **100 Meters**.
Although, I certainly didn't mind that, as it pushed [**A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace**](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1pylqzu/comment/nwjq9fp/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button), which was one of my favorite shows last season, to the left side of the ranking, at 15th place.
I'm quite surprised that [the season finale of **Spy x Family S3**](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1pwz70e/comment/nw77x3m/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) lost a lot of karma this week and landed in 2nd place, surrounded by [the first episode of **Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Stairway to Adulthood-**](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1q0ffm0/comment/nwxq79b/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) (1st place) and [the second episode of **Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Stairway to Adulthood**\-](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1q0ffm9/comment/nwy11wr/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) (3rd place).
For new titles, I love [**Tamon's B-side**](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1q0gfds/comment/nx02abw/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)! The [first episode](https://imgchest.com/p/bp45or6pn75) was great, I love [Kinoshita](https://imgchest.com/p/ljyqkb5vny2) and [Tamon](https://imgchest.com/p/ne7b6jndmy5) already! J.C. Staff certainly did a great job with it, this will probably be one of my favorite shows this season.

The Spy x Family karma is wrong, I'm surprised they didn't notice and fixed it. Guess it's because of the holidays. You can see for yourself, the 1033 posted above was the episode's karma after 23 hours. The remaining 25 hours after that are missing in action.

First week of the new year but still very much between the seasons as you can tell from the chart.
Unsurprisingly **Kaguya-sama** took the win. With only the final movie to come possibly the last time we'll see Kaguya, one of the karma all time greats, top the chart.
Thx to all the specials airing still to **Tojima** in the top 15 but it is nice to see **With You Our Love Will make It Through** making the top 15 this one time.

Appreciate it, but I'm planning on watching *everything*. I know some filler can be bad or boring compared to the main series for any show that has filler, but my logic is that if I'm already loving the cast, spending more time with them in any capacity > skipping over something just because it isn't canon.

Kaguya-Sama special episodes?? I live under a rock when it comes to news about anime. I'll give it a watch when I have more free time. It's surprising for me that it beat Spy X Family on the No. 1 spot.
One piece has finished airing season 1, with the longest first season ever in anime history. Probably there is another Anime I'm not aware of that might have more season 1 episodes, and the season 2 (Elbaf arc) will air this April 2026 iirc.
Not related to the episode but there is no episode for To your eternity S3 today because, Christmas break. Everyone deserves a break. I also checked the twitter account and the anime subreddit but no news about it so a Christmas break is what I believe is the reason.
Anyways, looking forward to watching the new anime shows this year.

EVERYONE GO WATCH **100 METERS**. It is now streaming on Netflix, and it was written by the Orb's author. It was a work before Orb, if I recall correctly. A great sports anime, but also a great anime about life. It is streaming on Netflix. Please go watch it.
Two shows started this week. The first being **Sentenced to Be a Hero**. Holy crap, a true 1-hour episode that pulls you in. The premise and story so far are very, very interesting. The animation was nuts. Looks to be on the scale of what we see from Frieren & JJK. Of course, just one episode; I don't want to get too ahead of myself. The first episode pulled me in so well I am going to start reading the light novel but will continue to watch this weekly.
The other being **Tamon's B-side**. At first this seems like a male idol anime. As a huge fan of the manga, the B-side in the title is the true meat of the story. Even if you aren't a fan of male idol shows, this is absolutely worth a try. Voice direction seems to be elevating the comedy from the manga, and the performances bring the series to life and offer a source reading a new experience with the anime.
Now mentioning shows that wrapped up this week.
* **A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace** \- Wow this was actually great. The cast of characters was amazing, and it really dives into the mangaka industry. Showing different sides of how it is more than just the mangaka that is responsible for these stories. Voil did a good job here. Sadly, the author's other series, I don't have much confidence in its anime.
* **Chiramune** \- As a Ln reader I can't complain about the quality of the adaptation so far. It was one of the best-looking shows from last season despite being unfinished due to the delays. A bit sad we didn't get to Vol. 3 yet, but if you already liked the series before, you will love it when it comes back. Hopefully the remaining episodes are paired with the 2nd cour.

I saw Netflix advertising 100 Meters as an upcoming movie on their platform and the idea of an anime movie about running made me curious. I did not expect it to be that good. The art, the music, the characters were all incredible. The rain scene alone is special but the rest of the movie holds up its end of the bargain.

This is a funny week for technically there by mistake shows:
- **To Your Eternity**. Crunchyroll (CR) pulled this ep after it went live because the Japanese broadcast had not actually finished (was interpreted due to earthquake news, ep 14 will now be on the 17th as they need to re-run this ep on the 10th) i.e. CR were not meant to have shown the ep at all (hopefully it's no further action but NHK could consider it a leak and withhold eps until broadcast which would delay their release).
- **SI-VIS**. For some reason B-Global posted ep 13 a week before it broadcast on TV (on Christmas/New Years break) putting it into this chart. I was worried this would cause the show to desync (where some viewers are a week ahead which breaks discussions and this show is not popular enough to cope) but that hasn't happened. Ep 13 aired on TV (and went live on CR) today.

If you reduce the multiple entries in the Top 10 (looking at you Watanare lol), Tamon's B-Side would be in 6th place, which is really impressive unsurprisingly considering how much of a bop the first ep was! I'm hoping the anime does the manga justice because it's one of the funniest things I read recently.

Man, it shouldn't have taken this long for A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace to get over to the left-hand side of the chart. And even then only in part as a result of other earlier ending series being eliminated.
At least Shabake (beyond overdue) and Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru were able to break back into the chart at all for their season/series finales.

If only the Princession episode was one of the better ones when it came to the week that it appears on the karma list (as the main focus of that week's episode seemed to be more about a last minute Christmas push for \[Princession\]>!the two new Princesses introduced in the previous episode!<).

Comparing it with other graphs it does look like it would have still ended up below Kaguya but as you say it would have been very close.
I still say Kaguya PROBABLY won (not 100% sure), but they were very close.

For new titles, I love [**Tamon's B-side**](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1q0gfds/comment/nx02abw/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)! The [first episode](https://imgchest.com/p/bp45or6pn75) was great, I love [Kinoshita](https://imgchest.com/p/ljyqkb5vny2) and [Tamon](https://imgchest.com/p/ne7b6jndmy5) already! J.C. Staff certainly did a great job with it, this will probably be one of my favorite shows this season.

Then you have Egatae’s Futami & Sato. Less spicy but we instead have \[Egatae ep 13\] >!meeting the parents!<. Talk about progress.
Unsurprisingly **Kaguya-sama** took the win. With only the final movie to come possibly the last time we'll see Kaguya, one of the karma all time greats, top the chart.
Thx to all the specials airing still to **Tojima** in the top 15 but it is nice to see **With You Our Love Will make It Through** making the top 15 this one time.
LOL oh and the finale of One Piece season 1 aired. Some thirty episodes to go before I catch up, just in time to start waiting several months for the next episode.

I hope this is the last of One Punch Man getting an anime. Nothing good came out of this. S3 was what fans thought S2 was when it aired. I doubt Bandai is even going to suddenly care.
In all seriousness, I really like it as a romance anime. Sena is an angel and must be protected. Also, Renako is a better main dude than most romcom MCs.

However, unfortunately, it seems the pacing may not suddenly start speeding up
Kaguya-Sama special episodes?? I live under a rock when it comes to news about anime. I'll give it a watch when I have more free time. It's surprising for me that it beat Spy X Family on the No. 1 spot.
One piece has finished airing season 1, with the longest first season ever in anime history. Probably there is another Anime I'm not aware of that might have more season 1 episodes, and the season 2 (Elbaf arc) will air this April 2026 iirc.
Not related to the episode but there is no episode for To your eternity S3 today because, Christmas break. Everyone deserves a break. I also checked the twitter account and the anime subreddit but no news about it so a Christmas break is what I believe is the reason.
Anyways, looking forward to watching the new anime shows this year.
I've been also playing the Gnosia game while waiting for the second cour to start. It's a fun experience for anyone interested.
Two shows started this week. The first being **Sentenced to Be a Hero**. Holy crap, a true 1-hour episode that pulls you in. The premise and story so far are very, very interesting. The animation was nuts. Looks to be on the scale of what we see from Frieren & JJK. Of course, just one episode; I don't want to get too ahead of myself. The first episode pulled me in so well I am going to start reading the light novel but will continue to watch this weekly.
The other being **Tamon's B-side**. At first this seems like a male idol anime. As a huge fan of the manga, the B-side in the title is the true meat of the story. Even if you aren't a fan of male idol shows, this is absolutely worth a try. Voice direction seems to be elevating the comedy from the manga, and the performances bring the series to life and offer a source reading a new experience with the anime.
Now mentioning shows that wrapped up this week.
* **A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace** \- Wow this was actually great. The cast of characters was amazing, and it really dives into the mangaka industry. Showing different sides of how it is more than just the mangaka that is responsible for these stories. Voil did a good job here. Sadly, the author's other series, I don't have much confidence in its anime.
* **Chiramune** \- As a Ln reader I can't complain about the quality of the adaptation so far. It was one of the best-looking shows from last season despite being unfinished due to the delays. A bit sad we didn't get to Vol. 3 yet, but if you already liked the series before, you will love it when it comes back. Hopefully the remaining episodes are paired with the 2nd cour.

Tbf will this be the only week in Winter 2026 where we see all shows below 200 karma in this chart? Some heavy hitters are arriving (JJK, MHA Vigilantes, Golden Kamuy, Mayonaka Heart Tune, Chained Soldier) soon. At least we get to see MFG, Miburo, and SI-VIS in the chart.
Also glad to see Mangaka make it in the top 15 for the last week
- **To Your Eternity**. Crunchyroll (CR) pulled this ep after it went live because the Japanese broadcast had not actually finished (was interpreted due to earthquake news, ep 14 will now be on the 17th as they need to re-run this ep on the 10th) i.e. CR were not meant to have shown the ep at all (hopefully it's no further action but NHK could consider it a leak and withhold eps until broadcast which would delay their release).
- **SI-VIS**. For some reason B-Global posted ep 13 a week before it broadcast on TV (on Christmas/New Years break) putting it into this chart. I was worried this would cause the show to desync (where some viewers are a week ahead which breaks discussions and this show is not popular enough to cope) but that hasn't happened. Ep 13 aired on TV (and went live on CR) today.
If those hadn't happened...**Cat Tales** have made it with 6 karma (we've had shows with 4 karma in these quiet weeks before). Alas, it's [the one that got away](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/bf9414ee876c.jpg).
