Hi JaiBae420, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

You might also find our [Recommendation Wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/wiki/recommendations) or [daily thread](/r/anime/search?q=flair%3Adaily&restrict_sr=on&sort=new&t=week) helpful.

JaiBae4202026-01-04 16:49

I started watching aot yesterday and im 17 twin

SBX192026-01-04 17:39

That’s awesome

AOT is my favourite anime till date

We can connect as I’d love to see your reaction to it as the story unfolds!

Also, I saw dbz as my 1st anime when I was a kid & since have seen about 150 anime (As I saw other anime only in 2023 onwards + I do research & don’t watch everything)

If you are really new to anime, I would suggest you to put aot on hold for now and save it for later. Because aot is so peak that it wiil raise your standards for plotline, narrations and twists. You might not enjoy any anime after aot for months or weeks.

If you haven't seen it, Vinland Saga is a good, solid seinen manga. Based on your suggestions, I'd say Made in Abyss, but it's a work you might both love and hate—I won't go into detail, you'll understand.

Otherwise, for something more relaxed, I'd say Steins;Gate, or if you don't care about relaxing but want something cool, Another.
Generally, I prefer seinen manga in print, like Beastar or Kingdom, but these four should appeal to you, and also to people who come here with the same questions, a similar list, but not necessarily identical tastes.
