Why is japan still producing these isekai slop instead of animating actually good manga/Novels
Is there like an constant income of uneducated masses that keeps watching these slop? No matter how downbad the person is after some time he needs to get tired of the same plot right? This negative trend started in the late 2010s and i was genuinely wondering why it is not ending...

These anime air at midnight anyway
The polar opposite would be anime originals which is why I always try to check them out.
Does your country have diverse and exclusively non-overlapping media? No 20 copies of the same reality show, or box office dominated by one type of movie?
Also money.

People who write Isekai probably have egos to match the one sided power fantasy that the genre typically devolve into too. They'll pay because they think it's the best thing ever the studios will sign because the first season will typically break some records get a following and then once the power fantasy bits settles in it's forgotten labelled slop and the studio and animators move on to the next.
Correction on this. They're amateur web novelists (a lot of whom write escapism / wish-fulfillment for themselves), which, if their series get popular enough in the web novel space, can get picked up for light novel publication and later anime adaptation.
> They'll pay because they think it's the best thing ever
Correction on this too. The authors do not earn well most of the time. The ones pushing for adaptations are their publishers and the production companies they collaborate with to fund anime.
???
What ego? These are literally no-name indie authors writing web novels on their spare time.
I feel like you don't actually know what you're talking about.
Pervertedness in anime is at an all-time low
Like it stopped being the premier trend like 7 years ago with kicked/betrayed from the party and Villainess stories taking the lead instead. Anime is just *very* slow to adapt to changing trends because it takes a long time to produce anime and on top of there needs to be a certain amount of time to get volumes of manga and novels out for a proper adaptation.
Like most isekai anime being made is from pretty old franchises at this point.
Like there is a lot of great female characters in anime. If you don't watch anime with good female characters in them that is more of a *you* issue.
I also found mushoku tensei quite enjoyable even though I disliked the fan service. And I haven't watched Re:Zero and I don't want to.
Look man, if you hate Isekai so be it. But you clearly haven't watched anything other than the main anime. But there's anime like king from now on and magic knight Rayearth that are amazing.
All mainly male protagonists. In fact, it's borderline Yaoi in a sense.
And now and then here and there is almost entirely about child soldiers.
Reincarnated as a slime does have its fan service moments. But those can be overlooked by the plot. Magic knight Rayearth, though has a mostly female cast. I genuinely don't remember a single moment where the main 3 characters were shown in their panties. In fact, the one fan service character only showed up for like 3 episodes. You shouldn't comment on anime without knowing anything about it. Just like most things in life, you should judge a book by it's cover. Besides that. Why even watch anime if you hate fan service to the point where you try to avoid it. Like I'm sorry dude, but the only company that doesn't do fan service is studio Ghibli. The rest has it's moments. Besides that, as a proud American you get used to the hyper sexualization.
I'm watching stuff you haven't even seen. I mean besides reincarnated as a slime and rising of a shield hero. I've seen other isekais I've already mentioned. How can you determine I'm not watching good stuff when you haven't seen the stuff I've seen? Make it make sense brochacho!
Why take a risk on something that might not sell?
At its the problem is not really isekai itself, the real problem is power fantasy and lazy writing, isekai is just a cheap trope to enable them. 99% the isekai aspect of the story doesn't matter and can be fully ignored.
As for why the anime industry ride of this train, I would argue that the industry has always ridden of the popularity trains: today it's isekai but at one point we also had the battle school harem fantasy craze, the mecha craze and the magical girls craze. Japan anime industry has never really been particularly daring or innovative. Quite the opposite: it has always been very conservative.
The extreme version of this is are otaku, the ones that have walls of figurines worth the monthly average wage of a 1st world country.
These people have different tastes and that is fine. But they also actually support the industry.
