I'm looking for anime to watch in 2026

Hey guys, I’m trying to fill up my watchlist for the year and I’m down for pretty much anything.

I’m not picky at all about genres or demographics. You can suggest horror, romance, action, ecchi, shounen, shojou or whatever. If you think it’s worth a watch (or even if it's just a personal favorite of yours), let me know.

I'm also planning on replying to the comments here with my thoughts/impressions once I finish whatever you guys suggest, as long as it isn't too long. Trying to basically expand my anime consumption and knowledge.

Diamond no Ace (but ist very long with over 200 episodes + the upcoming sequel)

Danmachi (the actual title is just long)

Hanasaku Iroha

Horimiya (Seaon 1 left out a lot of content but it still amazing. Season 2 adapts this content but it jumps to diffrent spots in the story. Season 1 stands for itself and consider season 2 as fanservice with extrascenes in episode lengh.)

Maid-sama

Kakegurui (Twin is a spin off)

Yu-No, a girl... (long title, based of a visual novel, I assume you read them based on Diabolik Lovers)

Madoka Magica (only the og series is worth the watch, 12 episodes)
