Looking for some recommendations for animes with good character writing, world building, and animation.
Coming off of that good old "I've finished a great series and it's over now depression" with finishing SAO, I'm looking for some more reasonably long anime with good characters, actual world building, and preferably not stiff/lacking animation.
I'm more of a fantasy person than Sci-fi but I'm not opposed to it, and I usually prefer a couple season for a show to be able to pace itself and actually have time to do things. I'm looking more for action and adventure that at least has some seriousness to it than I am romance and slice of life (not exactly hard to find good ones for those). I'm really just looking for some more great longer anime that have been crowded out of the spotlight as new ones keep coming out.
Some of my favorite anime/manga:
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Sword Art Online
Gurren Lagann
Dandadan
Shangri-La Frontier
Vinland Saga
Dungeon Meshi
Some stuff on my list I haven't watched yet
The Water Magician
.hack
Demon Slayer
Cowboy Bebop
InuYasha
Goblin Slayer
Re:ZERO
Trigun
Tsukimichi
I've watched a lot more than these, and have more on my list just trying to not be too long winded here lol.

For a "Vinland Saga" clone, there's "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth".
If you liked the world in "Dungeon Meshi", you might take a liking for "Made in Abyss". The worldbuilding, while amazing, is not as well written as DiD. The soundtrack is amazing.
