Im looking for the most cursed anime shows , if yall can help

Im 1000% a perv but thats not what this about Context , was on socials and seen a dialog of someone saying reason it anime was stigmatized back before the shift was because tho anime has some cool shows ..... it also has some really weird ones the dude arguing other side said movies has weird shit too but no one looks at movies as weird, the reply was its waaaay more weird shit in anime

For post of weird shit , can you just leave tittle and why its super weird or creepy im not planning on watching anything I havent already watched but thought it be a interesting post , any help appreciated

eh, Made in Abyss season 1, movie, and season 2, are all fked up. Its def not near "most cursed". It's also a great watch in general.
It puts kids through some horrors I wouldnt wish on someone I hate.. so theres that.

I feel like that weirdness is still there in stuff. Like I wouldn't tell a normal person to go watch made in abyss its an amazing show for example.

As for cursed shows here are some classics:

Evangelion as a whole is a masterpiece but weird is 100% a word I'd use to describe it as a whole too.

And then like..shit we just see as normal has to be fucking confusing to see at a distance.

recently there was announcement of a second season of a show where the whole point is too look at girls panties while they look back at you with a disgusted face.

One of my favorite anime of all time is Keijo!!!!!!!!, a show that's about a competitive sport where people only use their boobs and ass.....also note that the 8 fucking exclamation marks isn't a type its just the fucking title of the show.

The initial concept of anime being weird was set in the 80s and 90s with the OVA era. We're talking about titles like MD Geist, Cyber City Oedo 808, Black Magic M-66, Demon City Shinjuku, Wicked City, Ninja Gaiden, 3x3 Eyes, Parasite Dolls, and so on. Heavy violence, lots of *plot*, eviscerations, blood by the buckets, body parts everywhere, you get the idea.

Add to those movies like Akira, Ninja Scroll, and Ghost In The Shell, and the average USian of the era would shy away from the concept of anime at the slightest exposure: Akira with the body horror and gang violence, Ninja Scroll with a body count that was excessive even for the era, and GITS with the odd mix of deep philosophy and wanton violence.

Then you can throw on the early jiggly titles like Gunsmith Cats, Bubblegum Crisis, and Dirty Pair. Not to mention the titles that showed junior high girls in risque-for-the-time situations like Sailor Moon and her lengthy relationship with Tuxedo Mask.

So yeah. The person you were talking to wasn't wrong at all.

I think it's simpler than this. You can find similar themes, visuals, storylines, etc in regular movies. The camera angles might be different, but bikinis and guns were regular American movie staples 70s through the 90s. The half naked jr high school girls thing is a bit further than the slutty high school girls movies of the 90s, but not by much (The Crush, Fast Times, The Faculty).

I think the real issue was, Americans equate animation with kids shows. There was a short period where animated films for adults did well in the late 70s with Ralph Bakshi, but it was mostly treated as medium for kids.

With the preconceived idea that these are shows for kids, of course it seems weird to have big boobed cat girls fighting crime. Akira was a standout when it released, and Americans didn't know what to do with it. It was a cartoon, but it was crazy and bloody, how can this be? It really wasn't until Ghibli dropped Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away in theaters that people started buying into cartoons being for adults.

Friendly reminder that the OG Dragon Ball contains jokes like:
Being naked is fun
Goku likes to sleep on his grandpa crouch
Elderly man (Master Roshi) trying to take a look at underage girls' (Bulmas') panties.

Oh, and there is stuff like 1998 Kite, totally not a kids show. I'm guessing Kite is about to receive a more SFW makeover as a new series - Virgin Punk.

As someone who likes to swim naked in nudist beaches, I can say "Being naked is fun" without a hint of a joke, xD... And generally, certain countries and cultures have a different attitude towards non-sexual nudity than other countries. That is not to say that you are wrong the other things you mentioned about Dragon Ball, they are clearly sexual humor that would be quite unhinged. I would just say that Goku being naked as a kid is something I'd put in a very different category than all the other stuff you mentioned.

One absolutely cursed anime is King's Game: The Animation. It basically mixes the plot of The Ring with a bunch of Highschoolers being forced to do violent and sexual stuff in order to survive. It's genuinely terrible.

Another example is Club to Death Angel Dokuro-chan. In which an angel goes back in time to try and redeem a pedophile who's going to stop girls from aging when they're young teens. And she does this by gruesomely murdering him and bringing him back to life a lot.

A third extremely unhinged anime is based on a PS1 game. It's called Galerians and is about a kid who runs around battling monsters and taking deadly drugs to awaken his powers.

Then we have Miyuki-chan in Wonderland. A short little anime about a girl who goes into a fantastical wonderland, like Alice, where she's constantly groped without her consent by a bunch of buxom ladies.

The final example I'll give is Higurashi When they Cry. An anime about a group of teenagers stuck in a bizarre world hopping situation where horrific things happen to them that result in them dying/killing each other in various gruesome ways.

As an important heads up, **for OP** and anyone else who might be interested in watching Higurashi When They Cry (Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni), make sure you start with either: the [2006 anime](https://myanimelist.net/anime/934/Higurashi_no_Naku_Koro_ni) (and it's [second half Kai](https://myanimelist.net/anime/1889/Higurashi_no_Naku_Koro_ni_Kai)), the original visual novel, or the manga adaptation.

The 2020 anime Higurashi When They Cry: New (Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni: Gou), is a sequel to the original story, not a remake. **Don't accidentally start with Gou**, as it's full of spoilers.

(_Note: in most (if not all) regions, the only Higurashi anime on Crunchyroll, is Gou. Also, the original Visual Novel is currently available on Steam, under the title"Higurashi When They Cry: Hou", with the first arc being free to download._).

Sekirei, Freezing, ikkitousen, Highschool dxd, Chained soldier, Darling in the franx. Basically any Ecchi show. Not all of them though. Like even some of these have an ok story but just shows like these have too much nudity or sexual stuff.

Op you have to understand that ALOT of weird anime stuff isn't gonna be your conventional t.v. shows or even movies. most of them are one off ovas and online only borderline newgrounds level animation. The ones i've named are probably the more POPULAR of the more deranged/deviant shit but the more deranged/deviant stuff you go the less access it has to the general public.

like for instance the belladonna of sadness is the story of a woman trying to marry a man and asks for the kings blessing. the king asks "what do you have to offer" and the two being broke basically say "uhhh nothing" so the king declares that he will take his wifes virginity as his offering and for not bringing anything else as an offering every member of my court gets to take your wife as well and kicks the man out of the castle and proceed to run a train on the woman. This is like 10 mins into an almost 2 hour long animated movie mind you. Thats not something you're gonna find on crunchyroll and its pretty graphic despite it being up on youtube and thats like one of the TAMER stuff you could watch...
