[Just watch it. ](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/i1vl8l/a_rant_watch_the_damn_anime/)
the_1_and_only_nick2026-01-04 22:55
I think your right i just have to watch it
rusticism2026-01-04 22:41
just try 3 eps of it and if you like it continue watching and if you don't like it don't watch it, personally i really liked it bc of its unique world and power system but everyone has different tastes
the_1_and_only_nick2026-01-04 22:44
Ok thankss for the advice
Financial-Camel99872026-01-04 22:42
Personally I didn't like it. Idiotic main character, boring world, and side characters didn't seem engaging either. But I only watched 6 episodes before quitting so maybe it gets better. But it is popular so I would still say check it out to see if it vibes with you.
ududbsisysveiudvdid2026-01-04 22:42
> some people are telling me to watch it
why not listen to them?
the_1_and_only_nick2026-01-04 22:44
Cuz maybe they are just glazing it
committed_to_the_bit2026-01-04 22:46
it's okay to "glaze" things. thst just means they like it lmao
the_1_and_only_nick2026-01-04 22:49
Yeah im not saying that glazing its a bad thing, i just dont know if its that good
Prince_Uncharming2026-01-04 23:14
Maybe everyone in this thread is just glazing it too.
Just fucking watch it if your friends are recommending it. What’s the worst that could happen? You get a few episodes in, hate it, drop it, and then talk to them about why you didn’t like it?
LogNberry2026-01-04 22:47
Good pacing, interesting world, clear character motives. It's a very good show to watch and enjoy. Especially now, since you can binge the entire thing.
Sm0k3_Reddit2026-01-04 22:48
I thought it was amazing and would definitely recommend it, but I’d give it the three episode rule to see if you like it or not.
ScaryGent2026-01-04 22:51
You can't live your life only watching the best, most perfect things ever. Try it, see if you like it, keep watching or don't.
regibegi2026-01-04 22:51
What did you enjoy before? If you liked similar, not too complex fighting shounen that aims mainly at children as the target audience (similarly to black clover), this might be a good pick for you. If you need a more complex narrative with character depth, this might not be the thing for you.
the_1_and_only_nick2026-01-04 22:53
Oh ok well i personally like both so i dont think ot would be a problem
regibegi2026-01-04 23:21
Then give it a try, you will know if it's your thing from the first 3 episodes
AshenOwn2026-01-04 22:53
I powered through the 24 episodes, and thought it was ok. There is some mystery regarding the world, but that takes a backseat in favor of the fights, which werent bad, but not something i was looking for either.
As fas as characters are concerned, the designs are cool, the protagonist is not awful, but not likeable either. Most supporting characters were not really developed too.
The villain characters are positively bad, the main bad guy does not have charisma or anything that makes watching his plans unfold enjoyable, and there is this one psycho character which was extremely annoying.
So yes, with only 24 episodes so far, it was ok, not a complete waste of time, but not time well spent either.
I had the impression that the story would delve more in world bulding on the end of the season, so i would watch a sequel, but that is only because i bothered watching the first one. I might also just rush through the manga in the future, to get some anwsers, and give up on the anime altogether.
I am not the biggest shonen fan, but Demon Slayer, JJK and Dandadan were all enjoyable watches for me. Gachiakuta feels much more like a generic older shonen, which is a niche i find harder to enjoy.
Consistent-Grab18922026-01-04 22:55
I just watched the first three episodes and the story seems promising.
I don't think I'll regret watching this anime.
Illustrious_Arm_7322026-01-04 23:27
Would like to know it too
